...Shloer is a line of non-alcoholic drinks that have always been a favourite of mine for many a year. They are primarily made from grape juice and are of the sparkling variety. Unlike most soft-drinks however they are marketed exclusively towards adults. This doesn't mean however that they are not suitable for children because they are; I have drunk them from being a young child. They are marketed like this simply because they do have an adult appeal hence why their slogan for many years has been "Shloer - the grown up soft drink" Shloer is primarily sold in one litre bottles in most supermarkets and I have just recently seen and purchased it in smaller 275mlbottles, this however was in my local branch of Heron, frozen foods and I have not seen them in the supermarket, but they may well be there. Review of Shloer Sparkling Juice Drink

Coopers Sparkling Ale

Advantages: Strong yet refreshing and easy to drink

...I first drank some Coopers Pale Ale which became a favourite of mine and decided to try other offerings from the Coopers brewery. Coopers Sparkling Ale is a lovely beer. I poured my first bottle into a glass to accompany my Vindaloo curry and it went very well with the spicyness of the food. There is actually a live yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle which you can mix into the beer before pouring if you like. But that's personal taste. I personally do like to mix it in. This beer is bottle conditioned, meaning that the brewery add extra sugar and yeast at bottling to carbonate the beer. This makes the beer much nicer than if it were to be force carbonated as per most commercial breweries. You can actually use this yeast sediment to make homebrew beer with, as I do. ...Pearl drops With the festive season well and truly upon us, and with me being totally driven by marketing ploys, I spotted this on the shelves in the chemist and it became one of those "have to haves". ~~THE PROMISE~~ I don't think that I actually delude myself that it is going to be too dramatically different (if at all) to other toothpastes of the same ilk. However, the fact that it is a party sparkle toothpaste meant that it was going to adorn my sink. It does promise to be the finishing touch for a brighter whiter smile. ...When I went to the corner shop yesterday, I was looking for something different to drink. I spotted this drink called Rubicon Sparkling Mango. This came across as very different as I have not tasted a fizzy mango flavoured drink before. I usually go for fizzy orange flavoured drinks. The drink was in a 500ml bottle and the label was blue and orange. This meant it was very eyecatching. Even more eyecatching was the orange band along the top of the label that said ?thirst quenching 89p?. The front of the label also tells you that this drink contains real fruit juice. ...I bought this product in Superdrug in my search for whiter teeth. The packaging I?m afraid to admit drew me in, so that obviously worked. The box, silver and sparkly though I no longer have it so cannot go into detail, definitely caught my eye. The bottle itself contains 50ml of toothpaste and is designed to stand on its lid. However if you choose to then it will also stand on its base, which is an oval shape and flat. The word ?sparkle? is written 4 times in three different fonts on the front on the product, with the brand name ?Pearl Drops? featuring quite largely at the top in a bold circle of colour. The front also has small silver stars dotted between the writing and in the background. The lid is an odd shape and hard to describe ? it?s wider at the base and screws onto the main bottle securely. No leaking toothpaste from this...

Tesco Flavoured Sparkling Water

Advantages: The price!
Disadvantages: Some flavours can be too sweet

...When it comes to flavoured water, I only like the sparkling variety. Is tarted off drinking Marks & Spencers flavoured water, but they were so expensive that they became a treat only. Then I tried Tesco's own range which I found to be excellent quality for the price. My favourite flavour is Apple & blackberry. It has a much more natural taste than some of the other flavours which can be sickeningly sweet. It has to be drank chilled for the best flavour, & is really refreshing, especially on a hot summers day. Best of all, the whole range is very low in calories which means if you're on a diet you CAN have a soft drink which tastes good & doesn't taste as though you're sucking on a saccharin tablet! The range is great value at 42p per bottle, but is usually available on a multibuy, which means you can get 3 bottles for only a quid...

Review of Tesco Fruit Flavoured Sparkling Water

Sparkle Skin ~ The star amongst exfoliators!

Advantages: Effective, won't irritate skin, value for money, lasts for ages, great for fake tans
Disadvantages: The smell is perhaps an acquired scent

...I was advised to try this exfoliator by a customer when I used to work in a department store and I have to say I have not used any other exfoliator since! Sparkle skin by Clinique is available to buy in either a squeezy tube or a tub, although having tried both I would say that the tub lasts significantly longer than the tube. Having been converted to using fake tan after a bad experience in both the sun and on a sun-bed that was too hot, I decided the way forward was to fake it and from this I would also need a good exfoliator that would go the distance ~ Sparkle skin certainly does that. Unlike some exfoliators that can scratch your skin off and leave it red, raw and sore, 'Sparkle Skin' effectively removes dead skin cells whilst keeping the state of your skin in tact. So no more worries of looking like a tomato after a session...

...Airwick, that well known company that used to be called HAZE, has produced a very good air freshener, this time for use in cars. This one has the advantage that it does not make your eyes water, unlike some air fresheners. Hang it from rear view mirror using the hook provided, or stick to wherever you want it, (yes it even has an adhesive pad included) and it does not even have to be on show. Apparently, these little beauties are made using advanced "Hyperscent' technology" and will last for four weeks. The little gizmos also contain up to 80% perfume whereas most others only have up to 10%. They are available in lots of places nowadays, in three different fragrances: Aquamarine, White Flowers and the Sparkling Citrus we are reviewing here.
