...Shloer is a line of non-alcoholic drinks that have always been a favourite of mine for many a year. They are primarily made from grape juice and are of the sparkling variety. Unlike most soft-drinks however they are marketed exclusively towards adults. This doesn't mean however that they are not suitable for children because they are; I have drunk them from being a young child. They are marketed like this simply because they do have an adult appeal hence why their slogan for many years has been "Shloer - the grown up soft drink" Shloer is primarily sold in one litre bottles in most supermarkets and I have just recently seen and purchased it in smaller 275mlbottles, this however was in my local branch of Heron, frozen foods and I have not seen them in the supermarket, but they may well be there. Review of Shloer Sparkling Juice Drink

Coopers Sparkling Ale

Advantages: Strong yet refreshing and easy to drink

...I first drank some Coopers Pale Ale which became a favourite of mine and decided to try other offerings from the Coopers brewery. Coopers Sparkling Ale is a lovely beer. I poured my first bottle into a glass to accompany my Vindaloo curry and it went very well with the spicyness of the food. There is actually a live yeast sediment in the bottom of the bottle which you can mix into the beer before pouring if you like. But that's personal taste. I personally do like to mix it in. This beer is bottle conditioned, meaning that the brewery add extra sugar and yeast at bottling to carbonate the beer. This makes the beer much nicer than if it were to be force carbonated as per most commercial breweries. You can actually use this yeast sediment to make homebrew beer with, as I do. ...Pearl drops With the festive season well and truly upon us, and with me being totally driven by marketing ploys, I spotted this on the shelves in the chemist and it became one of those "have to haves". ~~THE PROMISE~~ I don't think that I actually delude myself that it is going to be too dramatically different (if at all) to other toothpastes of the same ilk. However, the fact that it is a party sparkle toothpaste meant that it was going to adorn my sink. It does promise to be the finishing touch for a brighter whiter smile. ...When I went to the corner shop yesterday, I was looking for something different to drink. I spotted this drink called Rubicon Sparkling Mango. This came across as very different as I have not tasted a fizzy mango flavoured drink before. I usually go for fizzy orange flavoured drinks. The drink was in a 500ml bottle and the label was blue and orange. This meant it was very eyecatching. ...I came about owning this mascara/eye liner in one for free actually! In store it is £10 but when I bought 2 items of make up from store I was given this for free! It was a very appropriate gift for me as I wear eyeliner every day so it was very useful but also had that bit of extra sparkle to it with having glitter in too so thought it would be great for the Christmas parties I am to go to this year! What is it? It is just one item but has two functions. The tube has two ends- one unscrews and is a black mascara with tiny fine bits of silver glitter in. The other end unscrews and is a black eye liner with very fine bits of glitter in. They have got a very good range of wines from all around the world, which vary in price from as little as £4 right up to £85 for a bottle of Dom Perignon 2000. I belong to their Wine Bank, which is effectively a loyalty programme. You pay £20 each month into the Wine Bank and every three months Virgin Wines will add another £20 in interest, so when you come to buy your wine you effectively get 25% off. You can pay more into your Wine Bank if you want to and you will be rewarded with a reciprocal amount of interest (i.e. £30 a month would attract £30 interest and so on). ...I bought this product in Superdrug in my search for whiter teeth. The packaging I?m afraid to admit drew me in, so that obviously worked. The box, silver and sparkly though I no longer have it so cannot go into detail, definitely caught my eye. The bottle itself contains 50ml of toothpaste and is designed to stand on its lid. However if you choose to then it will also stand on its base, which is an oval shape and flat. The word ?sparkle? is written 4 times in three different fonts on the front on the product, with the brand name ?Pearl Drops? featuring quite largely at the top in a bold circle of colour. The front also has small silver stars dotted between the writing and in the background. The lid is an odd shape and hard to describe ? it?s wider at the base and screws onto the main bottle securely. No leaking toothpaste from this...

...As the days get colder and snowier, I think more and more about going on holiday someplace in the Southern hemisphere where it is currently summer. However, this is impractical and expensive and I have to find a suitable alternative, which usually means festive treats and goodies. And what more festive at Christmas than a nice glass of mulled wine? But when I'm at work, I figured that I'd better stick to the caffeine instead. But on a recent trip to Whittards, I discovered that perhaps I didn't have to entirely pick between the two if I bought their mulled wine flavour instant tea drink.
