The best iPod / Phone!

Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
Disadvantages: needs a couple of firmware updates to become the perfect phone

...Given the rather briefness of the other iPhone reviews on Ciao, and given I've actually GOT one, I thought I'd do a proper review prior to the iPhone being launched in the UK. I phone negetive features

Advantages: It is very nice and quite cool
Disadvantages: not worth for the money

...It is very nice and quite cool but it has got so many negetive features. In my opinion it is not worth spending so much of money for this product. negetive features like * Very expensive for the current market, if we compare with other phone in market with similar kind of features * we can't forward SMS's *it has got extremely weak speaker, comparatively poor signal clarity * we can't do Bluetooth file transfer *it will not store or open local HTML, XML, or script files. *IPhone lacks voice dialing, so you can't use the phone truly hands-free. I think still many will be there since i'm not having it so don't know all them. But it is very good phone to buy with out any contract, then it is worth other wise I won't spend so much on this phone....

iPhone I like

Advantages: Modern technology, amount of software and number of devices.
Disadvantages: No protective case.

All about the iPhone

To unlock the iPhone, you press a button and slide the arrow across the screen. On the left side of the iPhone you will find a volume adjusting button and a silence switch. When you slide the switch, you are toggling the ringer on and off. When the switch is in the silenced position, your iPhone will not make any noise at all. On the bottom, you will find two speakers and the place where you plug in your charger, or computer cable. Every iPhone comes with a dock, which you can plug speakers in and charge at the same time. ...Previously had a Samsung, loved it's simplicity and the fact it was flawless. Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had. Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. For example, Google Maps, easy to use and very sufficient Internet use, amazing screen quality with touch screen buttons that actually work... really well too! Aesthetically it isn't the best thing I've ever held and at 133g it doesn't exactly feel too light however this is justified by how good the phone looks it is easy to come to terms with given how good the phone is in other areas. > Weak in-built speaker. Despite the call quality being very good the in-built speaker is useless for playing music out aloud. It works well in calls as a loudspeaker but for music the single mono speaker is just not enough. > Sluggish menus, after the 2.0 software update my phone has been plagued by slow menus especially when accessing the contact list which now takes about 5 seconds to load properly. Despite these unfortunate issues the phone is very nice to use, they can now be picked up for around £200 second hand on ebay which makes for an ideal price for anyone interested in buying the phone to use for pay...

I used ZiPhone to unlock mine from AT&T in the US for use in Ireland. Out of the box the iPhone is intruative (It has to be as a Manual is not included in the box). The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

Advantages: MacBook or Desktop in your pocket
Disadvantages: Less of a phone more of a PSP

...If you need a pocket sized version of your Mac then this is for you. Its secondary use is a phone. . small things like not being able to send MMS and even forward any text messages you have received are simple things Apple could have put into the iPhone. Also the iPhone has NO video camera function???? It does crash sometimes which is very annoying especially when on a phonecall. Also have you ever written a text only to press the send button and realise your sending it to the wrong person. . most phones have a cancel option. . but NOT the iPhone!!!
