Try it out.
http://www.special-reserve.co.uk/
To buy from them, you need to become a member. This is relatively cheap and it enables you to a free gift and loads of cheap pc and console accessories, games and hardware.
What is quite good is the fact they also have shops. Based in Sawbridgewoth, Chelmsford, Basildon,Bristol, Egham, Nottingham and Upminster.
Being a resident of Chelmsford, I can easily nip down there and buy something so mail order is only useful to me when something is out of stock in the shop.
Its easier to order...

Leave It To The Reserves
Advantages: Fast delivery service
Disadvantages: Technical support only from manufacturer
...Christmas, all done again for another year! Like most of us all, I over ate, over drank, and still drinking. With the great hope that there was a massive electrical storm over my credit card company, which destroyed all their computers, including back ups, and there is absolutely no way of retrieving any transactions that I?ve made, over this Christmas period. Please!
This year I decided to do most, if not all, of my shopping on-line. As 99% of it was electrically based, I decided to get the majority of it from ?Special Reserve?. Why you may ask from that particular site, well during the past year, to me, this has been a site that can be trusted for an efficient service, and cheaper products than the high street shops. For instance, a media centre, that I bought my son this was £40 cheaper on this site than a well known electrical...

Serious Reservations
Advantages: A decent performance from Abigail Breslin.
Disadvantages: Zeta-Jones can't do comedy and neither can the director.
...and strings that suit the frothy subject matter. His chiming piano and strutting strings reflect the order Kate requires in her kitchen, though Glass then undermines himself by turning them syrupy. He employs syncopated piano motifs that resemble a heartbeat for her bedside vigil, which becomes steadily darker as it progresses. He tends towards the mawkish with sad piano and flute sections that seems a calculated attempt to push our emotional buttons. The most effective use of music comes with the jazzy brass and frantic themes for when Nick and Zoe are making pizza. It's a shame the rest of the soundtrack doesn't match up, with Michael Bublé's version of "Sway", refrains of "S'Wonderful" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" sitting at odds with Glass' solid groundwork.
"No Reservations" is a syrupy chick flick that will appeal if you like its leads...

A Dozen Reservations
Advantages: er.....
Disadvantages: Story, delivery, actors......
...so I can't help but hate this child actor or at the very least the character she plays. How on Earth a child can run off so many times or through so many strops in one movie is completely beyond me.
I would love to live in a world where this movie could be enjoyable, and I'd also like to personally meet someone who finds this movie hysterical so I can slap them round the face screaming "Get a grip!" No Reservations offers nothing that the afternoon TV movie on some obscure cable or satellite channel will offer you, the only advantage is a series of "known" actors, most of whom do the best they can with the incredibly hollow subject matter.
I watched this on DVD, but was so annoyed having wasted 100 minutes of my time I refused to watch the special features. Please take my advice and avoid this film until it turns up on TV in a year...

Customer Service? Product Knowledge? You decide!
Advantages: Cheap prices, good range of products.
Disadvantages: Don't buy a PC from them!
...I read a review on Special Reserve written back in 2000 by jonwhite . It prompted me to write about my own experience as it seems nothing has changed!.
A BIT OF BACKGROUND -
Special Reserve are mainly a cheaper version of PC World, selling everything from games to MP3 players, DVD players, software, digital cameras as well as every component for a PC you could possibly imagine. They have 8 stores, Basildon, Bristol, Chelmsford, Egham, Norwich, Nottingham, Sawbridgeworth and Upminster.
(The Norwich store was opened approx 18mths ago and is the subject of my review)
Now I have bought many things from them, just the usual off the shelf stuff such as PS2/PC games, optical/wireless mouse etc and have had no problem whatsoever and cannot fault anything.
However should you require a PC or anything more technical it may not be to...

Reserve your copy now!
Advantages: Well acted, good cast, nice story, good pace
Disadvantages: Zeta Jones never seemed to look like she was working in a hot kitchen!
...I passed my driving test last week (yay!!) and went for a nice drive around with Harry after I got home to celebrate. We found ourselves in town so I popped into Woolworths and decided to buy myself a little celebratory present. I saw this film on the shelf called "No Reservations" and I remembered my mum telling me she'd seen it and thought it was good, so for only a fiver, I bought it and sat down to watch it last weekend.
Chef Kate Armstrong has got her life sorted. She's got a great job as a head chef, a lovely little apartment and she thinks life is great, even though she's in therapy. But Kate's life changes completely when her sister is killed and she becomes full time carer of her niece Zoe. Kate has to alter her job and life to accomodate the little girl, and when new sous-chef Nick starts to
look after Kate's kitchen when...

I Can't Recommend Them Enough
Advantages: Very good prices, generally excellent customer service, huge site network.
Disadvantages: Slightly tacky magazine.
...I have been a member of Special Reserve since around 1995 and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They offer a huge range of products and services at extremely competitive prices, with generally faultless customer support. If you are considering buying anything computer, comsole or technology-related, begin by consulting Special Reserve's magazines.
It should first be pointed out that you have to be a member of Special Reserve before you can order anything, but the cost of membership is not going to break the bank can can easily be recouped within a few money-saving purchases. A one year membership costs only £6.99 (£12 for two years) for which you will receive a 50-page colour magazine with their comprehensive stock listing each month. Subsequent membership renewals cost £6.50 for one year, £12 for two. Each purchase...

Minsmere Nature Reserve
Advantages: Lots of wildlife, good facilities for the disabled
Disadvantages: Admission charges
...Minsmere is one of over 200 nature reserves in Britain managed by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB). Established in 1948 it is also one of Britain's oldest nature reserves. Back in those early post war days it was known as the Minsmere Bird Reserve and covered only a fraction of the 150 acres that it now spans. Today, Minsmere Nature Reserve covers the whole of east Suffolk from the estuary of the River Blyth to its north down to Minsmere River on its southern boundaries, this area now also forms a part of the much larger Minsmere - Walberswick Special Protection area and is also an area of outstanding natural beauty. In addition to its birdlife, it is also an important habitat for flowers, plants, insects and mammals. In September 2004 a previously unknown species of moth was found here, which was given the name...

No Reservations - Bland & Tasteless
Advantages: The food looks good?
Disadvantages: Where do I begin...
...and love. Kate, unable to give the child what she needs, attempts to win her over the only way she knows how - with food. Unfortunately, Zoe's tastes are not as refined as Kate's, and she refuses to eat anything Kate serves her.
At a loss, Kate's inability to get close to her niece begins to affect not only her strict routine, but her life as well. When the owner of the restaurant hires another chef in order to help her, Kate is upset by the competition, and fears losing her job. The truth is, Kate lacks self-confidence, is afraid of relationships - and confronted by both, her life begins to crumble.
'No Reservations' is a light-hearted attempt at drama that is neither compelling nor well-acted. Catherine Zeta-Jones is not at her best, and overlooks the intended depth of her character by focusing too much on the 'cooking' aspect...
