Advantages: Cheap good qualtiy clothing
Disadvantages: Could do with bigger stores

...this store to be alot more spacious, it is however alot further from my house so i still much prefer to visit the more local Rutherglen branch. CONCLUSION Overall i think this shop offers a really great range of beautiful fashion pieces. Alot of the summer dresses were really unique items and i have never found pieces as special as this in another highstreet store at bargain prices like these. If ive still not managed to convince you how great Select truley is by raving on about it why not pop into your local branch and check it out for yourself, i promise you wont be dissapointed. I know i certainly find it difficult to resist its charms these days and a quick trip to the local cafe which is located in the same shopping centre is now an excuse to browse in my favourite little shop....

...I was blessed with lovely skin throughout my teens only to be plagued by acne and sensitivity in my early 20's.. finally went to a salon and had my "skin mapped" by a dermalogica specialist and was given a prescription of products suitable for me: i finally bought special cleansing gel, antioxidant hydramist, active moist moisturiser, multivitamin thermofoliant, skin hydrating booster and will review each seperately. This review will be focusing on the special cleansing gel. I bought a 500ml bottle costing £35, while this seems steep it actually works out cheaper in the long run as the cleanser should last you 8 months at least (mine has lasted almost 9 months and both myself and my 60 year old mother been using it twice a day). ...I was saying to my best friend that we need some good clothes shops for women in our area. We live in a small town with not a great variety of shops, the one store we usually went to was peacocks but i think they have started to go down hill a little bit,there clothes tend to look cheap. To our suprise the following week a new shop was to open and of course it was select , i was so excited i love to shop and it was local what more could i ask for. Select your favourite clothes at a low price

Advantages: Good clothes for the prices
Disadvantages: The rails and the changing rooms

...As I walk along the busy highstreet of Weston-super-Mare, Select cathes my eye with the big sale signs in the window. I instantly think ahhh plenty of bargins so I find myself trying to weave myself though the crowds and eventually I have reached the shop. I'm standing in the doorway of Select scanning the shop with my eyes deciding in which direction to head. The shop looks crammed with people and the clothes rails look quite close together so the layout to me isn't very pleasing. Oh well, I think to myself shall I risk getting squashed or shall I leave the gorgeous jeans to my right. Review of Kellogg's Special K Bars

Select and Protect Home Insurance

Advantages: First class service
Disadvantages: Need to use Google to find one of their agents call back service.

...I had heard of this insurance company through a friend of mine who came back off holiday to find her terraced house flooded by a burst pipe. She had her home insurance with Select and Protect and phoned them with the news. They financed a new underground pipe to be put in place and paid for the replacement (new for old) of her damaged furniture etc. She was so pleased with their response, and especially the speed at which they reacted that she felt honour bound to recommend them. So i used them for my landlords insurance. Glad i did! A few months ago, the upstairs emmersion heater sprung a leak and emptied itself thought the living room ceiling and soaked anything in its path. I now have a new ceiling and carpets and my tenatns have new furniture and enjoyed two nights in a hotel while the house was dried out using dehumidifiers...

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel

...I have been using Dermalogica products for around 6 months now - I was a Clarins addict before but I found that after a while it wasn't working as well as it used to. So Dermalogica was recommended to me by a family friend. I had always seen good press coverage of it but had never really seen it in the shops. I now know that you either need to buy it from an authorised retailer or on the internet. What I think really sells it for me is that it is formulated my actual dermatologists rather than cosmetic companies & the ingredients are all natural so you know what you are using, which I always find reassuring.
