"SPECIFIQUELY" TAILORED FOR YOU FROM KERASTASE
Advantages: THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
Disadvantages: PRICEY/SALON OR INTERNET PURCHASE
...compatible with my hair type for under £20. Problem is, there were just so many that I spent the best part of 20 minutes walking about from range to range screwing my eyes up to see the small print for hair type. An assistant came to my rescue, thank the Lord or I would have had to pitch a tent ... She took a look at my hair and asked me a few questions, we established that I have greasy roots and dry ends. She then asked if there was any particular range I wanted to use, I had already been using Paul Mitchell products but wanted to try something new - sometimes your hair gets bored and stops working as well as it did with a product after a time. The assistant told me the best range they did was Kerastase which is actually made by L'oreal - as is Redken and Matrix haircare which surprised me.
She ushered me to the range and asked me how...

Kerastase Specifique Bain Gommage Cheveux Gras
Advantages: Totally works. See below.
Disadvantages: Availability. See below.
...get this done professionally in the salon) and washed my hair with Kerastase Specifique Bain Gommage (Cheveux Gras). This seems to be unavailable in the UK but can be ordered from www.hairloss-hair.co.uk and it's cheaper as well for this product and all Kerastase products but delivery charges will be incurred.
After that she also used Fluide Purifiante (shoud last for 3 months) to treat the scalp. This is not recommended for sensitive scalp as it is quite a strong product that strips the flakes off the scalp hence only recommended for 3 months use. But results are instantaneous.
To use the shampoo:
It is thick and white and a little goes a long way. It's floral scented perfume but not overpowering and absolutely gorgeous. Wet hair, lather and massage into scalp. The lather will not remain for too long after a few minute of massaging...

No more looking like a tramp!
Advantages: Grease-free scalp and hair
Disadvantages: May cause an itchy scalp (but then that could just be me)
...before finally deciding on 2 products that sounded as though they might actually work, this being the first.
The Packaging
The shampoo comes in quite a short and stumpy white bottle with a silver screw-on lid. The lid feels pretty sturdy and fastens securely. The name of the product and the Kérastase logo are prominently placed on the front of the bottle, while the back of the bottle has a brief description of the product and directions in several languages, as well as ingredients and contact information.
The Claims
This balancing 'Hair Bath', as Kérastase like to call it, is formulated to balance out an oily scalp and sensitized lengths. It purifies the scalp, leaving it feeling fresh and re-oxygenated, whilst nourishing the lengths without weighing them down for soft, shiny hair

Amazing Hair Product , L'Oreal Kerestase Ciment
Advantages: Makes hair silky, shiny and manageable + smells divine!
Disadvantages: Can be hard to find
...I first dicovered L'Oreal Kerestase Ciment when i was training to be a hairdresser, i started out shampooing peoples hair, and when i first used this product the first thing i noticed was the smell, it is divine!! Its so fruity and fresh, its unlike any other hair product you have ever smelt.
WHAT IS IT?
Kerestase Ciment is a conditioner that mends the hair. It is perfect for over processed hair, particularly bleached, permed or heat damaged hair.
MY EXPERIENCE
As i said i started using this product in salons on clients, but it was not long before i tried it on myself.
At the time i has bleach blond permed hair, my hair can take a lot of stress and was not in really bad condition but it needed something.
I tryed it and feel in love with it, it made my hair feel like it had never felt before, it really was like silk...

L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara: adequate.
Advantages: Good wand; not too expensive.
Disadvantages: Nothing special.
...What is it, and what does it claim to do?
A mascara from popular brand L'Oreal. The one that I purchased was black, but I have also tried the black/brown version. Of the two, I use the black version more often.
Packaging
Comes in a cardboard backed plastic pack, that is easily removed.
Application and Removal
No different from any other mascara, you remove the wand and apply it to the eyelashes, from root to tip. Most beauty experts recoommend that this is done in the "fan" motion. From the inside third, to the middle, to the outside third.
It doesn't clump, and over the course of he day it doesn't fall off the lashes onto ones cheek, unlike some other mascars that I've used in the past. Personally, I haven't found that it lengthens my lashes all that much, or thickens them - but it does define them...

L'Oreals Wrinkle Grease
Advantages: Tube is a nice colour!
Disadvantages: Ineffective and greasy
...Here I go again on the never ending quest for eternal youth! I am one of those people who probably looks better now than I did in my teens as I am generally happy with my life and I think that shows on my face. However I have noticed the odd deeper line appearing on my forehead and around my eyes which I am not so keen on. About a year ago I thought that I probably needed a little more help than I was getting from my ordinary moisturiser so I looked for products that may help.
I came across L'oreal Wrinkle De-Crease Collagen filler in Boots. I am not sure how much it cost then but it is now selling for £15.67. It claimed to be an intensive anti-wrinkle serum which would reduce the appearance of wrinkles---perfect!
The product was supplied in the ususal blown plastic packaging that took a while to get into but eventually I...

My perfect Mascara-L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara
Advantages: The volume, Price,
Disadvantages: Non that i can think of
...After searching for what seemed like forever for a mascara that lived up to its hype i finally found one i love, this to me is the Holy Grail of Mascara.
I purchased this Mascara from Boots for £8.99 which i thought was a resonable price and alot cheaper than my usually YSL mascara. I wanted a change from my usual mascara as i found that it was drying out quite quickly and paying £20.00 was starting to annoy me. So after buying alot of different Mascara's which didnt live up to their hype in my opinion, i decided to try this one.
After getting home i was so excited to try this, i bought the L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black which comes in a black tube not the usual Greyish one, as far as im aware they dont have a waterproof one in the Carbon Black but they do in the norman Telescopic range. On taking the wand out of the tube i was...

The Telescopic L'Oreal Mascara
Advantages: long, defined, spacious lashes
Disadvantages: tad expensive,
...The colour of the L?Oreal Paris Telescopic mascara is black, it is not waterproof, and the mascara does not smell at all.
The wand of the mascara is like a comb with four lines of rubbery spikes, it?s not as leathful as it sounds.
I t creates long defined lashes like I?ve never had before, it goes on really easy and doesn?t clump, the comb like wand separates the eyelashes as you brush through the lashes.
You get 8ml of black mascara and I found that it has lasted me forever but that?s because the wand applies what is needed to the eyelashes and it does that by the comb, brushing off what isn?t needed.
The cost of the mascara can be around £7.99 to £9.99 depending on where you go, you can get it from most stores such as boots, superdrugs etc...
The mascara pot is gold and starts off small and the gets slightly bigger to...

L`Oreal Have The Balance Right
Advantages: A good enriching lipstick
Disadvantages: None
...Only last week when I walked into Boots the chemist I noticed that the L`Oreal stand had been put in another corner of the store. There was the usual line up of cosmetics including Rimmel, Barry M, Maybelline, Max Factor and a couple of less well known names in the world of cosmetics and L`Oreal stood alone.
I supposed it was one of the one hundred and one marketing tactics that stores are so keen on applying.
L`Oreal are well established and they produce some great cosmetics and hair colours, I doubt if there are many females that have not bought one of the L`Oreal products at one time or another.
L`Oreal have put the Color Riche lipstick into a traditional twist mechanism case which has quite a sophisticated appearance.
I would like to say that I think the silvery cases make a great change from the normal run of the mill...

L'Oreal for me!
Advantages: natural looking tan, moisterising
Disadvantages: takes a while to dry
...I tried L'Oreal Nutrisummer for the first time last summer after realising I just couldn't face getting my pastey pins out in the sun!
I brought it from Boots for £7.92. Prices vary depending on where you shop but is usually between £6 - £7. A 'tone up' bottle of Nutrisummer is also available - it is the same as Nutrisummer but contains caffeine which is meant to tone the skin and reduce the apperance of cellulite. A tone up botte typically costs between £7 - £8.
It comes in different shades - one for fair skin and one for darker skin.
It comes in an attractive looking bottle, which is easy to read and understand. The lid is at the bottom so you don't have to spend time shaking it out when you get to the end.
The first time I used it, I applied it with my bare hands and it took about 10-15 minutes to cover my whole body...
