I started using this moisturizer last summer to soothe my skin before and after a day in the sun. I love that it includes an SPF! Now that it's winter, I love it even more. ...I have to say I'v never written a negative review before but in all honesty I thought that the price I paid for this hand cream was extremely high! The cream is infact non greasy i'l give it that but i found it too heavy to actually feel like it was nourishing my hands. i felt it left my skin sticky, generally i use hand cream on both my hands and feet but felt it was not suitable for either. It is a light lotion as it claims but i felt that it spread to thin and left a sticky residue on my skin. It has a lovely frangrance to it, a bit like talc so smells very clean but comes out of the tube a bit gunkish! Its a sort of grey/white colour, quite thick. I do like the fact that it is of an spf rating of 15! I find it hard to find a hand cream with a decent level of sun protection in it but it also claims an anti-oxident white tea...

MAC Select SPF 15 - worth it for the shade!

...Until recently, I'd sworn by L'oreal foundations, and found these to sit well and last the day. However, as is the case with a lot of brands, the shades were always just a touch too light or too dark. I was drawn to Mac because of the range of shades on offer. Perhaps it was just my experience, but I found the lady who served me in-store to be refreshingly blunt. Instead of the usual false air one encounters at cosmetic stands, she was extremely professional, while also flat-out telling me what didn't suit my skin tone, and also which type of foundation I should go for, based on my borderline oily skin. Disadvantages: Dodgy cap, strange texture

Personally, while i like the matte feeling it provides when the lotion has been absorbed, it has a nasty habit of balling up and coming off if I apply too much lotion - ie, instead of sinking into my skin, it sits on top. Using less product and applying more evenly has rectified some of this. I do like the SPF included, 15+ is a decent enough number for daytime use, even in Australia. Lets face it, if I was going to be outside in the sun all day I would apply a seperate 30+ anyway, so 15+ is sufficiant for spending most of my day in an airconditioned office. Overall, I like this moisturiser. Its not too heavy, it doesnt irritate my skin, and if I apply it correctly it has a lovely texture and goes a long way. Almost Foundation ... Certainly Make Up

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage
Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage

...neutral - there is a slight moisturiser/chemical smell, but nothing offensive, and not terribly noticeable, especially once it's applied. It goes on well, and blends easily, as you'd expect a product with the consistency of moisturiser to do. It does not cover as well as a 'proper' foundation, though it does a reasonable job of correcting the dark circles under my eyes (though I do still use a cover stick for those, as the coverage isn't complete). I don't always (and by 'always' read 'often') remember to moisturise. Many moisturisers come with an SPF factor - the fact that I forget to use mine means that I'm grateful for the SPF 15, thus hopefully protecting my skin from aging (though, having said that, since I seldom wear make up, it's a bit of a moot point).
