Essentially you are dealing with a patriarchially based society that 'eats it's own tale' through sheer ignorance of what they don't know/fail to assimilate into their own consciousness and above all fail to understand/relate to. For instance you have a situation where the local 'boys' beat the crap out of their own Priest (for heavens sake!!) because they have made the wrong conclusion and think that he is the killer!!! ...It's a regular morning in the financial district of Manhattan. That is until Dalton Russell (Clive Owen) and his gang walk through the doors of a bank posing as decorators. Without warning, everyone inside is taken hostage and a heist gets under way. Detective Frazier (Denzel Washington) is called in to negotiate with the bank robbers. But this is no ordinary robbery and Frazier soon finds himself in a game of cat and mouse with Dalton that shows no sign of resolution. Inside Man is a very entertaining heist thriller that has echoes of some of the great crime films of the seventies. It certainly shares some traits with Dog Day Afternoon as you have two central characters constantly sparring against each other. Spike Lee is not known for knocking out films that just entertain. ...Over the last few years there seems to have been a boom in energy drinks. 'Red Bull' was one of the first, is the best known and is certainly the market leader in the energy drinks niche. Latterly 'Solstis' from Lucozade, 'Red Devil' and now this one 'Spiked Silver' have emerged in an attempt to try and challenge Red Bull for the number one spot but without any degree of success BUT that could soon change. I get up very early in the morning (5:30) and for the first hour of my day, drive around doing a zombie impression. I used to stop off somewhere and pick up a coffee to wake me up but got fed up of the disgusting taste of machine coffee so I tried Red Bull at a freinds recommendation. ...Spike Dudley ; Commonly referred to as " Little " Spike Dudley - and rightly so as they are clearly mentioning his size in that statement, the reason? he is around 5'5 and 150 pounds (or as the commentators say " a buck 50 ") and so he does not have the look of a wrestler nor does he have the strength but he sure has the athleticism and heart of a wrestler. He does moves which quite frankly I at least; find hard to believe - such as where he is thrown around like a rag doll. Such as, when he has come into the WWF I have seen him feud with people such as Bubba Ray and D-Von who are his " half brothers " a.k.a The Dudley Boyz who are table driven maniacs who like to put Spike through the wood at unbelievable velocity. ...Well, first of all I have to say I'm not a great hair product afficionado but i tried this product to try and get some great pointy spikes and i wasn't disappointed. The packaging is sleek and effective and really caught my eye on the shelf. Priced at £3.99 in the supermarket where I saw this product I am assuming that this is quite good value. Now, the gel. I soon discovered you only needed a little bit to go a LONG way and my first attempt was something of a miny disaster! I ended up with rock solid spikes, the sort of which could probably cause some serious damage, and my hair drenched in greasy residue. After a good few minutes/hours under the shower I was ready to try again, this time with a significantly smaller amount! ...I grew up as an avid fan of Spike Milligan thanks to my English father who lived for the Goon Show etc. I bought this book on a whim and have since decided to shop impulsively more often! What a beautiful book it is. It is hard to decided which is better - the illustrations or the stories and poems. I should point out that the book does infact contain Spike's own illustrations. He has such a vivid imagination that the most ridiculous stories seem real and believable to the reader. I have a sneaking suspicion that although this is a childrens book it was really being aimed at parents although my 9 year old has laughed himself to sleep when I have read bits to him. I particularly recommend Sir Nobonk and the Terrible, Awful, Dreadful, Naughty, Nasty Dragon, although if you can get your mouth around the names and language... Read review

The product is available in most good retailers and is often on offer in Tesco's, Asda and superdrug. ...25th Hour was one of my favourite films of last year. Yet like a lot of Spike Lee films, it was overlooked on release and lost amongst the summer blockbusters and big Hollywood fare. That's a real shame as it's a great drama about friendship, regret and leaving all you have behind. Ed Norton play's Monty, a drug dealer who has finally been caught. He is about to go to jail for his crime but has a final 24 hours to live in freedom. It is time for him to put friendships in perspective and say goodbye to his family. Monty is not a bad guy, he's just misguided and made a mistake he will have to pay for. In his last hours Monty meets up with some old friends, truths come to light and Monty tries to discover who set him up, all his theories point to his girlfriend. Advantages: Political, gritty and a real slice of life from the poor side of America

...Possibly the best of Spike Lee's racially political films. Its set in Brooklyn and is a slice of life for many of the people trying to make their way in the world in some of the poorest neighbourhoods in the States. Spike plays the lead role, a pizza delivery boy for a local Italian restaurant. Despite the fact he is only a delivery boy he is portrayed as one of the luckier characters because at least he has a job, unlike many of them. But like everyone he has problems, a Latino girlfriend (Rosie Perez) and a young child both living with her parents who not surprisingly are not Spike's biggest fans. The film has very strong political undertones with tension growing through a hot summer between blacks, latino's and Italian Americans, particularily surrounding the Pizza restaurant.
