This is not a review of the whole Series but of Spikes role within it. Spike (also known as William the Bloody, aka The Big Bad) Spike is a vampire. He was introduced to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer series as the main enemy for Buffy after the death of the master. He arrived with a sickened Drusilla to take over the vampires of Sunnydale. Advantages: Written by a comedic genius with some very funny lines

...Spike Milligan has written a series of books giving his "version" of classic tales. In "Robin Hood According To Spike Milligan" he transports us back to the England of bad Prince John. Although at first he sticks quite closely to the original story of Robin and his Merry Men there are some vital differences. Maid Marion turns out to be a pole vaulter, Little John is now known as Big Dick, and somehow Groucho Marx ends up in Sherwood Forest as well. There are some extremely funny lines demonstrating that surreal humour that Spike developed in the Goons back in the fifties. For instance there is an emphasis on jam sandwiches and porridge as well as bows and arrows. However, sometimes you feel the story lagging and Spike working hard to try and make it funny. ...Want to run faster?... so do I. Without dedication, training and natural talent one is going to find it difficult to compete against others...be it 100m - 10 000m. So far i have found two ways to improve athletic performance without any effort. One is using hypnosis!!!!!!! (i may even write an op on this sometime), and the other is to take some excess baggage off your feet. Try buying a pair of ultra light racing spikes. Nike's Jasari are probably the best on the market at the mo. In fact the only other brand that make a pair of ultra light spikes is Puma. Firstly i would like to say that if you are a sprinter (with the exception of 400m runners)- stop here, as generally you will be looking at something with a great deal of support due to the high ground reaction forces encountered for these events. ...Well, first of all I have to say I'm not a great hair product afficionado but i tried this product to try and get some great pointy spikes and i wasn't disappointed. The packaging is sleek and effective and really caught my eye on the shelf. Priced at £3.99 in the supermarket where I saw this product I am assuming that this is quite good value. Now, the gel. I soon discovered you only needed a little bit to go a LONG way and my first attempt was something of a miny disaster! I ended up with rock solid spikes, the sort of which could probably cause some serious damage, and my hair drenched in greasy residue. After a good few minutes/hours under the shower I was ready to try again, this time with a significantly smaller amount! ...I should stress before starting this review that I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a bowler, so what follows is written very much from the point of view of a batsman/wicket keeper. BASIC INFORMATION The Puma Signature Full Spike is a lace up cricket shoe, and, as the name suggests, is spiked both at the toe and heel end of the shoe. It is predominantly white, with a red, black & grey trim and retails at between £40 and £60 (as usual, you'll pick up some better deals online if you search it out). The heel has 4 spikes, the toe 6, but it is possible to fit fakes to keep just the toe half spiked or to fit pimple spikes, but there are plenty of shoes out there that offer this as a basic anyway, and it would make sense that, were you looking to buy a 'full spike' shoe, you'd be looking to keep them all in! ...Spike Dudley ; Commonly referred to as " Little " Spike Dudley - and rightly so as they are clearly mentioning his size in that statement, the reason? he is around 5'5 and 150 pounds (or as the commentators say " a buck 50 ") and so he does not have the look of a wrestler nor does he have the strength but he sure has the athleticism and heart of a wrestler. He does moves which quite frankly I at least; find hard to believe - such as where he is thrown around like a rag doll. Such as, when he has come into the WWF I have seen him feud with people such as Bubba Ray and D-Von who are his " half brothers " a.k.a The Dudley Boyz who are table driven maniacs who like to put Spike through the wood at unbelievable velocity. ...I grew up as an avid fan of Spike Milligan thanks to my English father who lived for the Goon Show etc. I bought this book on a whim and have since decided to shop impulsively more often! What a beautiful book it is. It is hard to decided which is better - the illustrations or the stories and poems. I should point out that the book does infact contain Spike's own illustrations. He has such a vivid imagination that the most ridiculous stories seem real and believable to the reader. I have a sneaking suspicion that although this is a childrens book it was really being aimed at parents although my 9 year old has laughed himself to sleep when I have read bits to him. I particularly recommend Sir Nobonk and the Terrible, Awful, Dreadful, Naughty, Nasty Dragon, although if you can get your mouth around the names and language on the first... Read review

...plant grows long spikes there are narrow green leaves that grow up the spike then the flowers many individual blooms growing close together making the flower spike. One plant may grow several spikes of flowers. The colours of snap dragon flowers are reds yellow pinks white and orange, most are one colour, some are striped Snap dragons are not visited by butterflies as the pollen is at the base of the long tubular "mouth" flower, but bees can get in and pollinate the flower. The snapdragon grows well in full sun in a good soil which is well drained .The snapdragon likes to be watered well. If you dead head the flowers they may produce new spikes in the autumn. If you do not dead head the seeds can be collected and sown for flowers the next year. The snap dragon is really a pretty flower to grow in your flower beds. Enjoy your garden... Read review

...Over the last few years there seems to have been a boom in energy drinks. 'Red Bull' was one of the first, is the best known and is certainly the market leader in the energy drinks niche. Latterly 'Solstis' from Lucozade, 'Red Devil' and now this one 'Spiked Silver' have emerged in an attempt to try and challenge Red Bull for the number one spot but without any degree of success BUT that could soon change. I get up very early in the morning (5:30) and for the first hour of my day, drive around doing a zombie impression. I used to stop off somewhere and pick up a coffee to wake me up but got fed up of the disgusting taste of machine coffee so I tried Red Bull at a freinds recommendation. Although being very sweet and acidic, Red Bull does the trick - it wakes your mind and stimulates your body, preparing it for action for the coming day... Read review
