...selling useless rubbish and the most expensive petrol in the world. The loos are usually passable - I'll give them that. But the staff are generally rude and surly (and who wouldn't be, having to work in a place like that?), there's always The Family From Hell queueing in front of you in the Ladies, you can never find your way out of the damned place and back onto the motorway (or is that just me??) One day she even had the cheek to take over when I was changing Oliver's nappy just because I wasn't doing it fast enough - actually pushed in at the changing table and nudged me out the way. ...’ve got the score to the second of “The Omen” films too, which is fabulous and utterly terrifying when played loudly. A FOREIGN LANGUAGE ALBUM- Not on CD. I have a lot of European bands on tape. The Spanish do some of the most manic punk tunes I’ve ever bled my ear-drums to and eastern Europe churns out some of the most crusty grindcore I’ve heard too. It’s always nice to hear bands not succumbing to the temptation to sing in English for the sake of making sales, even if I can’t tell what the hell they’re saying. When it comes to punk, I can’t often hear what they’re saying any way… ANY VINYL RECORDS- A few, here and there. Nothing I’m particularly proud of. Some obscure punk and some very bad stuff by SPK. ...So many things that bug and annoy me in life, so here's 10 of them, if you know me- don't do them!!! 1. People interrupting others / talking over them 2. Txt spk on the internet - you have a full keyboard in front of you, USE IT! 3. People who feel they have to be constantly talking no matter how inane their conversation is 4. People who are patronising (without good cause) 5. Elitist music fans, it's not bad just cuz you don't like it 6. Those charity folks who harrass you on the street to pay money to some charity paying them over £6 and hour 7. People who like to think they know it all 8. .... This is rom-com at its worst- because its not actually very funny!! Its schmaltzy and pretty boring and predictable. What annoys you most about ciao? People who think they can get away with copying, people who churn but don't rate ANYTHING- you can see by their statistics, and txt spk on reviews. Its fine in the guestbook, it's a conversation, but reviews should be written coherently! What do you like most about ciao? I like getting feedback from people on my reviews, it shows how you can improve, and yu can find common ground with other members and they end up being great friends on the site. ...PHONES I reely h8 mobil fones. Espl whn thy rnng on buses & trns. Seen that before? Yep. A "txt msg" - the sole reason why people have a huge inability to "spk" properly. Or "rite" properly. You pathetic people send billions around the world every month. Customised ringing tones - the scourge of the bus / train / pub / classroom / theatre / shops / classroom / art gallery / public toilets / tube train / street corner. Everywhere I go - ring ring ring - "Hello luv, what's for dinner? Shall I buy some crisps? Ready Salted - or Cheese and Onion? Do you want Walkers or Golden Wonder? How about a pizza?". I'm not opposed to mobile phones in principle - they are great tools, especially if you have a family (ha ha, unlucky!). I'm opposed to them in the fact that they let people talk to their fellow morons, and intrude on my ear-space while doing... Read review
