The Amazing Stealth Action Game - Splinter Cell
Advantages: Awesome graphic and realistic sound
Disadvantages: None so far
...Here's my another game review of the most amazing stealth action game I have
ever played. Splinter Cell. I played it on my N-Gage first, then I played on my PC
for more realistic experience.
In this game, you'll play a character, an NSA agent named Sam Fisher. Sam Fisher
is a member of special division on NSA called Third Echelon.
Unlike other members, Sam Fisher has to do every mission by himself without
failing. Failure means national security will be endangered.
That's why Sam Fisher is a well trained agent. Ha can do certain tricks that
ordinary man can't do. He can sneak in to enemy's place without any enemy
realize his existence, although he's just few yards away. Also, he can do acrobatic
action such as jumping to higher places using a wall, hiding above an enemy by
stretching his legs between walls, wall climbing using...

Splinter Cell
Advantages: Atmospheric gameplay, cool gadgets
Disadvantages: Some ideas taken from MGS2, some
...Naturally, before playing on Splinter Cell, due to all the rumours about it being an exact copy of Metal Gear, I was sceptical. However, after just a few minutes of playing as Sam Fisher; the third echelon special forces operative, I soon realised how brilliant this game is.
Now, admittedly the name Sam Fisher doesn’t have quite the same ring to it as Solid Snake but he is certainly a far better stealth operative with more gadgets, moves and grey hair than Snake could ever muster.
The game starts with two agents lying in the cold spying on an enemy force. They creep into a vent and make their way down to a bunker of sorts. They discover a huge army ready to mobilise and immediately transmit to HQ. Unfortunately before they manage to communicate what they’re seeing in more detail they’re seen by a guard and fired...

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - Tired and Overdone
Advantages: Good graphics and voice acting, good replay value
Disadvantages: A poor attempt at innovation, needs something new
...With Splinter Cell: Double Agent being the fourth incarnation of Ubi Soft's now well established stealth-based espionage franchise, the developers desperately needed to build on their previous success and inject some much needed innovation into the once groundbreaking series. There is no doubt that Ubi Soft tried to push the boundaries here, but, upon playing Double Agent and hoping for the best, I unfortunately came away feeling that Splinter Cell has become rather tired and overdone.
With a plot that makes some gestures towards depth but ultimately fails to excite, and a new but half-hearted trust-gauge mechanism, the basics of Splinter Cell remain untouched in Double Agent. Based more upon stealth, and, to some extent, strategy than full blown action, the game sees the player take on the role of Sam Fisher, an NSA operative...

Splinter Cell Double Agent Review
Advantages: Good Graphics, Fans of the series will like it
Disadvantages: Poor attempt at innovation
...Splinter Cell: Double Agent Review!
Snazzy title eh?
Splinter Cell: Double Agent promised us something different from previous Splinter Cell?s, a game that followed Sam Fisher a grizzled veteran stealthily completing missions and saving the world. The series is hugely popular with fans and critics who love the realistic and patient style of game play. However, when Chaos Theory the third game in the series was released, it garnered a lukewarm reception, and whilst still being fundamentally sound it was a case of been there done that for gamers. Something needed to be done to freshen up the series and in October 2006 Double Agent arrived to do just that.
Or did it?
When I heard the premise for Double Agent I was excited, too excited if I?m honest. The idea of choosing how I play the game and how good or bad I am in...

You are a Splinter Cell!
Advantages: Excellent gameplay, AI, graphics
Disadvantages: expensive bought new
...I bought the game Splinter Cell because I had seen a preview on TV of it and it looked excellent. I had recently bought a new computer so I wanted to give my new hardware a test. I bought it second hand for around £20 but new you could have been paying £35 or so. This is what I thought of the game after playing it.
---The Basic Plot---
[Extract from back of box] "Your name is Sam Fisher and you are the best field-operative of a secretive NSA sub agency. Sent to execute desperate missions, you're the last resort of your government. Should you be captured or killed, all knowledge of your existence will be denied." This is your job, which is basically a SAS typo, one-man army. You are trained to the extreme and your experience is legendary. This is the introduction to the character. The opening cut scene describes your mission that...

Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Wii)
Advantages: Good gameplay
Disadvantages: Average graphics, awful controls.
...Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Wii)
I received this game as a Christmas present in 2008, though I believe the price to be in the region of £15 from Game.
I have to say however, I wasn't impressed. Graphically the game is okay, not amazing, but tolerable. The gameplay isn't even that bad and actually allows you to become quite engaged with the game.
The major downfall however, is the controls. They are quite simply awful, and I think with them being so bad, it takes an awful lot away from the game. You move around using the Nunchuck analogue stick and use the z button to use weapons such as grenades. The real problem is with the Wii remote controls. Rather than pointing at the screen where you want to shoot, you have to use the remote to look around until the crosshair (which is always in the centre of the screen) is...

Classic Splinter Cell with a few added... things.
Advantages: Really good game. Good, easy to understand missions and exeptional graphics.
Disadvantages: Very difficult to master, sound system needs a bit of work.
...One of the latest instalments of the hugely successful Splinter Cell series, Splinter Cell Double Agent is a great game, cool and fun to play as, for the first time ever, you take on the role of a bad guy.
Splinter Cell is now more interactive than ever, as even the slighest descision can change the outcome of the game. This time, you have to build on the trust of both the NSA, and the JBA, a terrorist group you have been sent to infiltrate and destroy from within.
In Double Agent, you will alternate between actual missions and resting at the JBA's base, where you are to complete missions for the NSA (eg, scan finger prints and retina's to gain access to hidden rooms etc). This kind of mission is timed, and often involves sneaking into private areas, and so builds on tension. Ubisoft have really thought this out.
Graphics, as...

Splinter Cell - absolutely superb
Advantages: Great sound, fantastic graphics
Disadvantages: a little hard to control at first, but keep at it!
...When I recently upgraded my computer to an all singing all dancing version, I decided to test the graphics and gaming card that PC world told me was "the best money could buy". I opted for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
* A bit about the character you control, SAM FISHER*
You play the character of Sam Fisher and you are the best filed operative of a secretive NSA sub-agency. Sent to execute desperate missions, you are the last resort of your government. Shoulf you be captured of killed, all knowledge of your existence will be denied: you are SPLINTER CELL.
Fisher has been on the front lines of espionage in several defining conflicts throughout past decades. He has not only survived, but also excelled in the field of covert operations through hard work, insatiable curiosity and brutal honesty. He has little time for polite...

Splinter cell: Double agent
Advantages: good graphics, some interseting and original parts of the game
Disadvantages: nothing amazing about the gameplay ans some levels let the game down
...The game is quite good, its not as good as some games on the PS3 but if you're a splinter cell fan then its a must buy, and other's may well enjoy the game too, but its not amazing.
There is an option to use the sixaxis but it’s quite pointless. The game is only one player, but there is a multiplayer online mode and network features.
The storyline is quite original; it sees you having to play as a double agent (as the name suggests). You have to be able to keep enough trust with each side, if you kill certain people then you’re trust with the NSA (your employers) will drop, but if you don't kill some people then the trust with the JBA (the people you must infiltrate and stop from blowing up some cities) will fall. If the trust goes below a level then the mission (and game) ends. Also if you are caught snooping round...

Splinter cell chaos theory - review
Advantages: A great stealth game
Disadvantages: 2 player mode is quite hard
...Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Chaos theory is a 3rd person stealth game. You play the role of Sam Fisher who is an NSA agent. This game can be picked up for varying prices but I got mine for £30.99 when it was first out. It was both developed and published by UBI soft and the game is a 16+. This game took me about 3 weeks to complete on the easiest mode and I would consider myself to be a little above average at gaming.
The Story
Sam Fisher is a NSA agent and he has to stop the outbreak of world war 3. He must go on numerous missions to take out certain people or simply to gather information. In his travels he must go to Asia, New York and many other countries and major cities. The story itself is told by listening to your team giving you the information, through what you discover as you read enemy emails and overhear...
