Reviews of split ends
an end to problem split ends
Review of Avon Dry End Serum by
zorena
Advantages: easy to apply, no mess, smooth tangle free ends,
Disadvantages: none
...Well here I am again writing a review on hair products. As I have bottom length hair these products are a must have for me. I first bought this product from avon because it was reasonably priced at £3.99 and came in a handy 30ml bottle, so I thought what the heck I will give it a go.
All you have to do is apply a few drops to your hand, then massage the serum into the ends of your hair. Your hair ends will be more smoother and shiny. Your split ends dissapear. Great! it also contains the balancing B2 complex. nice! It is also suitable for all hair types.
Most of the high street products are expensive to buy. If you order this product at least it is delivered to you in the comfort of your home. If you do not have a local avon rep order on-line at www.uk.avon.com. You can also request a brochure here or ask for information...

HELP - I need an EGO BOOST
Review of TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost, Leave in Split End Mender by
Lunar_see
Advantages: It works, it looks good, smells great and easy to use
Disadvantages: None
...My hair is my pride and joy, blonde luscious locks which take a lot of looking after to keep them in perfect condition. I have my hair highlighted infrequently to give it a lighter look and I use my Everyday I use my GHD hair straighteners with a straightening balm or lotion to ensure it is poker straight and all of the styling and creams I use takes it toll on my hair, often leaving it dry with a straw like feel and I hate the thought of split ends, as soon as I spot one I am usually rushing off to my hair salon to have my hair trimmed, the only problem being is that I like my hair the length it currently is and I hate having to have it cut.
Then I came across Tigi Bed Head Ego Boost which can be used on both wet and dry hair and has been designed to help combat split ends. Sold in a bright fluorescent pink bottle with a bright...

Can't do without it now...
Review of TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Styling Ego Boost Split end mender and leave-in conditioner by
becktheone
Advantages: Lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Can be pricey
...I first became interested in buying this product after visiting my local hairdressers and noticing BedHead products on the shelves. I usually come out of my hairdressers with lovely smooth, gorgeous smelling hair and have often wondered what it is they used on my hair to keep it looking, feeling and smelling so nice!
The Tigi official website describes Ego Boost as a split end mender and leave in condition to "seal, smooth and protect" hair. Now my hairdresser did tell me one thing: split ends can't be mended; the only way to repair them is to chop them off. However, BedHead claims to do just what I've been told was impossible.
LOOKS/PACKAGING
I was very impressed with the packaging, as it looks suitably girly for such a product. It's very eye catching, I like how the pink goes with the green top, and it gives an impression...

Three squirts of cream ought to do it....
Review of Garnier Fructis Intense Anti-Split Ends by
Barbsie
Advantages: Makes your hair look neat, keep new split ends at bay
Disadvantages: Doesn't work miracles
...You know me, I’m a sucker for hair products, so you can imagine my joy on Christmas morning when I got one for free in my Stocking! Thanks Santa! The real reason why I was so happy to get this though was because I have always “suffered” with split-ends, if I keep my hair short they are not a problem, but since I *hate* having short hair, I am forever looking for ways to sort them out, I have tried loads of shampoos/hair treatments/products, but I have never really found anything to keep them at bay, short of having regular trims. Recently I have been growing my hair longer (than normal) and I have been increasingly aware of my split ends, and although my boyfriend says that they are not noticeable, he was sweet enough to remember about my moans and bought me this to try and help me out.

I know it isn’t exactly en...

Definitely an ego boost
Review of TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Styling Ego Boost Split end mender and leave-in conditioner by
ItalianFran92
Advantages: Static free hair, reduced appearance of slpit ends, pink bottle :)
Disadvantages: Can't think of anything
...I bought this after I noticed I had a few split ends, since I can't afford hair cuts every few weeks, I wanted something that would reduce the appearance of them.
When I saw this product I was sceptical as I knew you can't get rid of split ends as it's just dry hair but WOW!
I thought it was amazing, I have fine hair which often feels dry. I noticed immediately how soft and silky my hair felt and when I looked in the mirror my split ends did look reduced. My hair had more moisture and there were no noticeable split ends.
You apply this to wet hair after washing and towel drying, you can also use it after drying and straightening your hair to remove static. You simply rub it into your palms and stroke it over the static hair.
Amazing product for me and I would recommend it....

ego boost
Review of TIGI Bed Head Hair Care Styling Ego Boost Split end mender and leave-in conditioner by
jo_field26
Advantages: great good value
Disadvantages: use too much and your hair goes greasy
...Another great product by Tigi Bedhead, not only do I have highlighted wavy hair I also use straighteners so this is a great product that I use to reduce the split ends and to condition my hair.
The bottle is huge and I only need to use 1 pump so although it costs around £9.00 it is worth it, it lasts me for absolutely ages so it is great value for money. I always find my hair more manageable when I use this product. It is the perfect leave in conditioner, plus it's the most incredible light texture and therefore doesn't weigh your hair down. It smell great and fruity too.
Ego Boost is a leave in conditioner that will protect dry damaged hair from the environment, chemical applications, shampooing, brushing, drying and straightening. It seals in your split ends and can be used on either wet or dry hair. It locks in the moisture so...

Split Ends Surrender! I'm Armed With Pantene
Review of Pantene Pro V Repair & Protect Shampoo by
coolcam7
Advantages: makes hair shinier, smells good, did reduce split ends
Disadvantages: boring packaging
...>>>I’ve decided to update this as I’ve been using the product for quite some time now and just thought I’d let you all know that it is still working a treat. I don’t have any split ends even after all this time! Might not work for everyone but I’ll be sticking with it. <<<
I had just been to the hairdresser and come out feeling a million dollars with a fab new hair cut, I love being pampered, but one thing still lurked at the back of my mind...
I knew that after a couple of weeks I would be plagued with split ends again. I was on a mission to protect my hair cut from split ends for as long as possible. I always seem to get them a few weeks after having my hair cut. Probably my own fault as I insist on straightening my hair every time after I wash it but all the same I though, there must be some way of stopping them.
I'd seen...

Sounds like split ends to me!
Review of ghdceramics.co.uk by
lauricha
Advantages: None really. Ok-ish design
Disadvantages: Boring intro page, very limited selection
...to read an essay about GHD's and how some websites are only GHD approved salons but they're actually a GHD approved WEBSITE? At the bottom of this rambling page is a link to the GHD range, a link to the actual website, a link for special offers and contact details.
So I went into the store by clicking 'GHD range'. The website GHDceramics.co.uk ends there! It is leads to another website called hairdivision.co.uk and another company called Hair Direct, which apparently sells all manner of hair care products. As the title of my review mentions, this company sounds like split ends to me. The page is very boring. Just a bog standard order page. For a GHD approved website it isn't very stylish. There are 3 main pages: GHD Electric, GHD Wetline and accessories.
The 3 main products offered are the GHD Mini, Original and Salon. There is a brief...

Perfection for your Endings
Review of Andrew Collinge Perfect Endings by
MurkyDismal
Advantages: Smells great, makes your hair feel amazing, quite cheap
Disadvantages: Some products are difficult to get hold of
...-tangle and smooth away frizz and flyaway hair. Its super moisturising, strengthening formula protects weak and brittle areas from dryness, helping reduce breakage and split ends, leaving hair ultra soft, silky and tangle free. As with the Shampoo, I paid £3.49 for this from Superdrug.
Leave in Condition - is a light leave-in conditioning spray that is a must have for longer locks. It will re-moisturise weaker areas, instantly calming and controlling unruly, troublesome or frizzy lengths and ends. It can be spritzed onto wet or dry hair, so its ideal to use if your hair starts to re-frizz between washes. I bought this from Superdrug for £3.95.
Heat Defence Styling Spray - When the heat is on keep your hair cool using Heat Defence Styling spray to protect the weaker lengths and ends of longer hair from the damaging effects of regulated styling...
