No point in Splitting hairs, its a great album!

Advantages: A lot of good tracks with different moods
Disadvantages: A few tracks where the vocals aren't quite clear enough

...was pretty AND talented, a rather awesome package in just 1 person. If you didn't like redheads there was Emma Anderson - she of the dark haired persuasion, also singing & playing guitar and owning a pair of legs that go right up to her neck as well writing some of the songs into the bargain. And if you don't like girls there was always the rather gothic Phil King on bass or the sadly now deceased Chris Acland providing rather awesome drums that melded together the very different sound palette that was Lush. So the band had something for everyone, be you boy, girl or small fluffy creature from Alpha Centuri (I think Miki had them covered). ...I'd read a couple of books by Jane Green which I had hugely enjoyed so I was really looking forward to reading Second Chance and I was not disappointed! It was a hugely enjoyable read from the very first page based on a group of characters that it was really easy to get to know! The story centres on a group of people who were all friends while they were growing up but have since lost touch. The sudden and tragic death of one of them throws them all back together again at his memorial service and gives them a 'second chance' to renew their friendships. What they discover is, that even though they have not seen each other for years, the thing that makes them friends in the first place is the same thing that draws them back together again! Everyone deserves a second chance

Advantages: Easy to read and enjoyable 'beach' book
Disadvantages: None

...I have always been a fan of Jane Green's books and have not found one that I didn't like. I try and get hold of a copy of any of her new books as soon as they are published in paperbacks as I can't stand the hardbacks! After waiting a little while longer due to lack of funds I finally got hold of 'Second Chance' and then after waiting again to find time to sit down and read I managed to finally finish the book a couple of days ago and so thought I would share my thoughts on this book. The author: Jane Green has written quite a few books now and they are all the 'chick lit/romance' type of books. She originally wrote for the Daily Express newspaper and became a writer when she wrote her first book 'Straight Talking' which ended up being a huge success. Advantages: A great tool for copying and backing up your data and documents

...backup solutions there really is no excuse not to. If you?re not doing any backups at the moment read on - if you are well read on anyway. I personally now use a utility called Second Copy at both home and work and I will describe why using both my scenarios. Of course other options are available to protect your data - some of the online backup solutions (such as Mozy for instance) are excellent and can now replace utilities like this to certain extent. However these online solutions do come at a cost and can actually be added to your backup solution to make it even better. I will explain more on this later. Her stories are often of subjects which occur in peoples lives and are often quite tricky to deal with. She sets a lot of her books in court rooms and the stories lead up to particular court cases. quick, easy to use blusher

Advantages: quick and easy
Disadvantages: can be messy

...As i like to have a slightly shiny face (i suppose luminous is the word I'm really looking for there), I find it hard to find a blusher that doesn't make me go all matt and powdery looking and ruin the luminous look. But the split second blush stick doesn't do that. While it is not shiny, its creamy consistency means it just blends into your skin in just a few strokes so it doesn't matter what look you prefer - matt or luminous, it will give you the colour without affecting the make up underneath. It also works well on bare skin (which I have found a lot of blushers don't) so if you're not someone who wears foundation, you can still use. It comes in several different colours (I use blushing rose) so you can choose the one which suits your skintone the best. Every Second Counts.

Review of Every Second Counts - Plain White T's

Almost as fast as 60 seconds!

Advantages: Great price, great shine, good brush, dries very fast.
Disadvantages: None.

...The bottle is made of glass and the top screws off and has a brush stuck inside for applying the nail polish. There are lots of bristles to the brushes and none of them came away when applying the polish. I only needed a couple of strokes to apply a nice even amount to each nail. The colour I am using is clear and it's very shiny looking. I found that the polish took around 2 minutes before it was dry enough to touch without smudging and even though this didn't quite live up to the 60 second claim I was very pleased with this as most polishes I use tend to take around 10-15 minutes to dry completely and I normally end up smudging them in time and then having to reapply which can get very annoying. I found that it lasted a good 4 or 5 days without chipping and then it became a little warn looking so I just either gave it a top up...
