...TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is probobly the best 'cheap' game on PS2 and possibly on every other console. It combines first person shooter with great gameplay and thousands of weapons ranging from the 9mm pistol to heatseeker and monkey gun. There are several modes of play: Story mode - where you play as Cortez, or if you're playing 2player co-op story, player 2 plays as the R-110, a futuristic robot whose programming was altered by Cortez, to make it 'good.' Battle through 13 levels in different time periods ranging from 1932, where you assault a scottish castle with a vintage rifle, to 2252, where you fight with human resistance forces against armies of robots wielding plasma autorifles and sci-fi handguns. ...When Time Splitters was born at the same time as the exit of the PS2, this shot 3d with the first nobody was largely voted by plebiscite as well by the amateurs of the kind as by the non-specialists. It is thus with great pleasure that we accomodate this second opus which proposes a challenge even more intense and more rich person that the preceding episode. Placed in a scenario tied up extremely well, the missions as rich as are varied and this, as well in solo mode as muti-players mode. The nine episodes which make Time Splitters will lead 2 you American wild west to Tokyo hi-tech with the possible one. Well, in the instance of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, 'bargain' would be a severe understatement - I came across a brand-spanking-new copy on play.com for the ridiculously small total of £4.96. It's certainly the best game I've never spent a fiver on! TimeSplitters: Future Perfect (TS: FP) is the third (and probably final) PS2 instalment of Free Radical's highly-acclaimed dynasty of first-person shoot 'em ups. Despite the fact it had to follow an excellent predecessor and that between instalments the gaming-goliath that is EA snapped up the rights to the series, it is easily the best iteration to date and in my opinion, the most complete first-person shoot 'em up to have graced the PlayStation2. ...TimeSplitters 3 Future Perfect, is the 3rd installment in the TS series. TS1 was strange and i thought dissapointing, TS2 was great, lasted for ever and had good graphics for its time. Now TS3 is out, i was worried as i did not think that it would be as good as TS2, well i was wrong its much better. Story: When I was playing TS3 I felt something different then when i was playing TS2. It took me a while to realize then it hit me, there was actually a good story. Unlike TS2 which had an ok story but was just a sort of go threw kill the bad guys get the crystal and run. TS3 has a continuing Story line from the TS2. You play as Cortez, a military mastermind, the same character as in TS2. You are returning from the Splitter Space Station that you blew up previously. Published by EA and developed by Free Radical Design, this is a combination of British and American intelligence, fortunately without Bush's input. The game bears many resemblances to its predecessors - the cartoon graphics, the tongue in cheek humour and, of course, the classic characters, including Captain Ash, Harry Tipper and Sgt Cortez. THE GAME Playing as the main man Cortez, you're once again left to shoot your way through not only different locations, but different time zones aswell. Cool, huh? The train level looks great, with you and just one of your sidekicks, Harry Tipper, shooting your way through the carriages and then along the roof of a speeding train. The later Scotland level, which is set in and around a castle, looks just as good, and is the first time you get to try out driving. Yes, that means there are vehicles too which can be used for loads of different things - eg. Running people down / Breaking through locked gates or maybe just for giving your legs a rest.
