...Nickelodeon have had some big hits over the years; Jimmy Neutron, Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys to name but a few. The latest and potentially biggest from the US TV stable is SpongeBob SquarePants. Advantages: It's sponge bob, its lego & it's not just for kids
Disadvantages: small bits, get lost down sink

...playset thing that takes a while to construct. Basically it's a lego themed spongebob squarepants' house in Bikini Bottom (just like the Nickeloden Cartoon show). For those who've never heard of spongebob, first of all, why not He's so amazingly cool, and second of all, I'll fill you in. It's a cartoon show for children, aged 5+, and is usually aired on sky and digital on Nickelodeon. SpongeBob lives in a pineapple home under the sea in Bikini Bottom beach resort. Squidward's is an octopus who sponge bob works for and lives in a tiki home. Patrick is spongebob's bestest best friend and is a starfish. Patrick lives on a rock next to Spongebob. They enjoy adventures and discoveries inbetween Spongebobs job at the crabhut take away, and going to school. Just like the t.v. programme this pack includes your favourite characthers as well... Advantages: Splendidly absurd with a fantastically odd soundtrack

..., Spongebob is something of a cult character. Those crazy Americans have even created a church of Spongebob. Maybe it’s because he’s such a simple soul, bright-eyed and optimistic in an increasingly cynical world. Maybe it’s because he lives in an anachronistic world where people still talk to their neighbours and live in giant pineapples and Easter Island heads under the sea. Or maybe it’s just because the whole cartoon is so damned weird; I mean a sponge with a fast food obsession, living in a pineapple, in a town with cars, television and a thriving restaurant business? ...is a square yellow sponge that works as the Krusty Krab. The McDonalds of the sea where he grills patties for Mr Krab's. A salty seaman style crab with an eye on every dollar. Generally each episode sees Spongebob get into some silly adventure that usually involves his friend Patrick the starfish.
