...For those of you who haven't heard of Spongebob Squarepants I will give you some background info on this lovable, funny character. First of all Spongebob Squarepants lives in a Pineapple - yeah I know, strange - at the bottom of the sea in a place called Bikini Bottom. He is therefore a sea sponge who wears square shaped pants - hence the name. Simple for all to understand. He loves cooking and is lucky enough to work in the Krusty Krab cafe where he specialises in cooking Krabby Patties. While he tries very hard to please everyone, he often gets things wrong and this can cause people to be impatient with him - especially Squidward. ...The SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS Movie Running time: approx. 83 mins Certificate: U All together now..WHOooooooooooooo LivesInaPineappleUnderTheSea ?? Thats right...Sponge-bob-Squarepants. Advantages: Catchy songs, cute animation
Disadvantages: Simple graphics, but effective!

...I never watched that much of the Spongebob Squarepants series on TV but I was given this dvd as a present and I was pleasantly surprised! It is a really funny movie, and who couldn't fall in love with the cute trouser-wearing sponge? The storyline of the film is that someone has stolen King Neptune's crown and it is up to Spongebob to retrieve it in order to clear the name of his boss, Mr Krabs. Neptunes crown turns out to be in Shell City, one of the most dangerous places in the sea! None of the sea creatures want to go there since it is so scary! Yet Spongebob saves the day and manages to get the crow
