...My boyfriend bought me this as one of my Christmas presents so I could listen to my music in the gym without having to tuck my player into the band of my trousers! I was pleasantly surprised by the armband. I was initially a little worried that it would either slip down or cut off the circulation to my arm. The band adjusts by a velcro system and is elasticated so that using weights and flexing won't be hampered by the armband. The flexible skin is removable from the band. The player slips into the skin and the whole thing clips onto the band. So if you find that you want to remove the player but keep the band on then you can, which is a handy function if for example the headphone wire is getting in the way of what you're doing. I was very impressed so if you have the Mosaic and are a gym-goer or runner then this is for you!...

Armband that caters for both men and women

Advantages: Nice tight fit. Cable Capsule very useful for runners. Washable.
Disadvantages: Key holder is useless

...see in the picture. When I was looking around for an armband, I did some research on the net and found that a lot of women had problems finding a decent one for them. They seemed to find that the straps were always too big for them. No worries with this one though. This can be fit really tight. If you find this strap too big, then there must be something wrong with you! On the flip side, the strap can cater for guys with big arms too. The fabric used to make this is hand washable up to 30 degrees C. This should be useful to wash all that sweat off! Now that I've just done a run with it, what do I think? The immediate thing was the completely useless key holder. Initially I thought it could handle one key my front door easily but I was wrong. I had strip everything off so no keyrings. ...MP3.com is a site which consists of a huge database of legal(yes legal) mp3 files for your downloading pleasure. If you are looking to uncover the next Oasis then this is probably one of the better places to start as there are some really good bands etc. on here...if you can find them... The main problem which I find with this site is that it is simply so huge. There are literally thousands of mp3s on here by numerous artists and trawling through the chaff to reach the corn is something of a life-shortening experience. Sadly it is moe likely that you will prefer to use something like Napster and find the files by artists you already know and like rather than seeking out ones you have never heard of at mp3.com. Amazon MP3 is an excellent alternative to 'itunes' and 'napster'

Advantages: DRM free MP3s play on all computers / mp3 players, and copied endlessly, huge variety, good prices
Disadvantages: Download program needed for multiple song downloads, but this is also occurs with main rivals

...I don't have an ipod, I am very happy with my MP3 player and don't plan to buy an ipod. All of my music is organised in Windows Media Player,and I wanted to keep it that way. I didn't want to mess up my carefully organised system, but I really wanted to start downloading music (without doing so illegally). I didn't want the itunes or napster programs on my computer, then I discoverend Amazon MP3 music download. Most importantly - Amazon MP3s are DRM free. DRM (digital rights management) found on itunes and napster tracks, involve software that restricts the tracks being played to the computer they were originally purchased on (and 2 or 3 nominated computers that also have naptster / itunes installed). DRM prevent you sharing your music with your friends and you can even lose it altogether if your computer dies. Amazon MP3 files...

...I bought this product for my new iPod nano as I work out and go running frequently. The armband is made of a smooth stretchy material not dissimilar to the material of a wet suit - neoprene - which is durable and waterproof so it can be used in the rain (not underwater). The iPod nano slides into an opening at the top and there is a small hole at the bottom so that your headphones can be plugged in. There is a second hole so that the 'lock' button can be toggled to prevent the controls on the iPod from accidentally being pressed. The holder for the iPod nano has a clear plastic front so that you can see the display and use the clicker wheel as normal. I have found some problems with this plastic front - once you get a little sweaty from running etc. the clicker wheel gets very difficult to use as your finger slips too easily...

The Apple Of My i (MP3 Edition)

Advantages: An excellent MP3 player with a huge hard drive.
Disadvantages: So much space available you may not know exactly what to do with it all.

...Once I bought the iPhone I was dying for another bite of the Apple. I have a huge and ever expanding collection of music and therefore need a large MP3 player to hold it all on. The iPhone is great, but with a 16GB hard drive it just isn't quite large enough to store my masses of music on. From Abba right through to ZZ Top; the 160GB Apple iPod can hold it all and there is still plenty of space left over for my ever expanding music collection. Having so far taken up 100GB I think I'm doing quite well at filling it so far, but there's still plenty more that can be stored and I doubt I'll be stretching my player to its full capacity for a long while yet. 100GB is the total amount of music I have amassed during the last 5 or so years, and to tell the truth a lot of the music on there I probably shan't be listening to ever again.
