Sports Waste
Review of Sports Soccer (Shop) by
Nathan_Innit
Advantages: Cheap prices and large stores
Disadvantages: Generally ugly clothes
...'ve got expensive taste.
Whilst the clothes area is relatively neat whoevers incharge of accessories obviously needs the sack. Pretty much everytime I go in there I will find gloves, scarves and caps on the floor. The selection is really quite poor as well, a lot of the stuff just being the same but in different colours. The caps are also quite close to the tills, which can make it difficult to browse and they're high up - so once again you'll probably need assistance that isn't around.
The whole right side of the shop is dedicated to trainers, but the whole area is carried as though it is a market stall. Boxes everywhere piled up, trainers in the wrong places, and hardly anywhere to sit or mirrors to look in. I've never personally purchased any trainers from Sports World, although I know people who have and are satisfied...

A must for sports wear fanatics
Review of Sports Soccer (Shop) by
GraingerN
Advantages: affordable sportswear, massive selection
Disadvantages: not particularly well labelled
...the usual Nike, Puma, Reebok etc. all priced it seems alot lower than you'll find anywhere else.
On the shop floor you will find, trainers, caps, babies, childrens and mens wear along with underwear, caps, bags and even skate boards. The first floor is more or less dedicated to teenage girls and ladies wear and the needy facility for us women of changing rooms. This floor also boasts trainers, caps, underwear and again sports items such as footballs and baseball bats.
After a quick hour :) and trying a few garments on I came away with a pair of Donnay combat trousers, aged 13-14 and a Donnay cropped v-neck top. The cost of this outfit being £11 !! The combat trousers original price tag was £14.99 - shop price £8 and the t-shirt was £4.99 - shop price £3, now that is a real bargain.
If like me you are short in the leg you too may...

JD SPORTS
Review of JD Sports (Shop) by
thespurs
Advantages: Exclusives, great range, loads of outlets
Disadvantages: None
...JD sports is the main stockist of the latest in sports fashion clothing and footwear. They sell the very latest trainers and football boots of which many brands are designed exclusively to be sold at JD Sports. They are often more fashionable than similar designs found at other sports outlets. The clothing that is stocked at JD, ranges from tracksuit bottoms to polo shirts and hoodies through to shorts. They also sell the latest replica football kits and sports/fashion accessories such as wooly hats, baseball and running caps, gloves and wrist/sweat bands.
JD have their own exclusive brand which has been responsible for much of their success. It is called McKenzie and has been a firm favourite ever since JD first opened. Polo shirts is the main range that has the McKenzie brand name on. They have produced some whacky and some...

Orange Lucozade Sport
Review of Lucozade Sport by
killiefan
Advantages: Nice Taste, Helps your thirst
Disadvantages: Bit sweet for some, no added energy
...Lucozade Sport is a still isotonic drink which comes in four flavours being Orange, Mixed Berry, Lemon and Grapefruit. For the purpose of my review the flavour i tested was Orange. The makers of Lucozade Sport are Glaxo Smithkline with the claim being that the drink aids energy loss and dehydration to help you get an edge in your sport. The boost is meant to come from the carbohydrate, fluid and electrolytes provided to replace what you are using during exercise.
PACKAGING
The 500ml bottle is a simple design being a clear plastic bottle with a label which difers slightly depending on flavour. It is designed to be easy to hold during exercise which works for me. It has a sports cap to make it easier to drink on the move.
TASTE
The orange lucozade sport is a very strong flavour and is extremely sweet. I find...

i do no sport
Review of Lucozade Sport by
penguinchickalata
Advantages: tastes good
Disadvantages: quite expensive
...I put the screw cap lid back on and put it into my bag and continued my walk in the sun to work.
After starting work I was thirsty again- but this may have something to do with the warm weather and the fact that I work in a call centre, talking to people. I turned again to the Lucozade and once again it did its job of getting rid of my thirst. It continued in this fashion till about 4 hours into my shift when I took a drink and…. Euch…. It was warm!!!!! The pleasant thirst quenching was no more. Now it was clingy in my mouth and downright disgusting. Into the bin it went and I had to content myself with water.
Now I know it says on the bottle it increases endurance by 33%, and I can only assume it means in sports (it certainly didn’t increase my endurance of work), so I cannot fairly analyse this claim. It does say on the back...

Hats off to Zelda: The Minish Cap
Review of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA) by
robowns
Advantages: Amazing Visual, Original Storyline, Great Gameplay
Disadvantages: Abit on the short side, Can be repetitive
...back and forth between two worlds, the large and extremely small. Minish Cap otherwise sounds, and plays like any of the Zelda games on the gameboy. The visuals are beautiful, some of the best available for the gameboy advance, supplemented nicely by some massive boss creatures and imaginative, oversized depictions of everyday objects while in the Minish world. The sounds feature some epic twists on original and past Zelda soundtracks. The gameplay goes back to the good old days of dungeon exploration and fighting monsters that attack in repeating patterns. You also encounter more than a fair share of Zelda puzzles, those ones that look simple, defy logic, and cause your brain to implode?
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a great addition to the series. Going backwards instead of forwards in the timeline was a masterstroke which...

* If the Cap Fits . .
Review of Race X Fuel Cap Cover Each by
smudgeybabes
Advantages: Can make your car look sporty - to you?
Disadvantages: Can look tacky.
...the fuel cap cover being reviewed here, is actually a stick on cover for the plastic flap that covers the fuel cap, the idea being it makes your car look like it is fitted with a quick release rascing type fuel filler.
Personally I think the idea is a little dated, and most tend to lok cheap and nasty, but the choice is yours. You and you alone can decide what looks good on your pride and joy.
Race X produce a catalogue, which is very good, and you will see over 300 items in there, including these stick on covers. Also stocked, are a lot more practical items, like locking wheel studs, and wiper blades.
Naturally they stock the usual range of hi-performance induction kits, also known as cone filters.
The company Race X, has a good history, and have been operating for quite a long time now, they are beginning to get a very...

Sporting Delights
Review of Sky Sports News by
Yocal
Advantages: 24 hr sports
Disadvantages: hubby is addicted to the channel
...Sky Sports
Fourteen years ago, I moved in with my then boyfriend (now husband) and within 6 months, we got all Sky. Not only did we get the entertainment package but movies, documentary and sports channels. It was only when Sky Sports News was launched on 1 October 1998 (his birthday) and I realized then how addicted to sports the other half is and how my life will never be the same again.
