The A3 is also much harder riding and becomes jiggly over some surfaces especially with the larger optional alloy wheels. If you are buying diesel for performance with economy I would recommend the GT Sport 140tdi (our previous car had the same engine and delivered average 54mpg over a tank,approx 500 miles. However this will take a little time for the engine to loosen from new, approx 10,000 miles.)The 170tdi is rather quicker but is much less economical. Running costs over our two years of ownership for the last car were very low. ...attempt, go a couple of times on separate occasions, Another tip with this is not to expect too much with your first attempt and not to get put off golf, Believe me your first time will always seem like a complete disaster, but don't let it get you down.
