Spot The Girl With The Perfect Skin
Review of Lancome Spot Controle Blemish Corrector Gel by  mizzameII

Advantages: Targets spots. Odourless. Invisible. Lasts.
Disadvantages: Expensive.

...to the skin or on top of make up the treated area is instantly cooled and soothed. The gel dries invisibly unlike some of the cheaper alternatives you can pick up in the chemist, which in its self was a major plus factor for me. So okay I have a history with Lancôme so was sold quite easily on the basis that I could instantly feel the gel sooth and that the product was invisible on the skin but after continued use I really must tell you what a god send this stuff is. No more red patches around spots, no more stinging and the best bit is - no more massive plukes! I give you my word this stuff is wonderful. Over the past couple of years Lancôme have upgraded and repackaged most of their range, Spot Controle is one of their most recent revamps. Best described as a ‘targeted blemish corrector gel’ and not to be mistaken for an acne treatment... Read review

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE
Review of Clinique Soft Conceal Corrector by  purdy

Advantages: Excellent coverage and blends in well with your skin tone
Disadvantages: Some may fine it too pricey

...Ok I’ll admit it lm a bit of a Clinique freak - there’s nothing wrong with such an addiction you know!! Girls need a concealer - it’s a well-known fact! We are always on the search for a little miracle worker to cover those minor imperfections and blemishes that may erupt! So in my search for this wonder product l happened across "Clinique - Soft Conceal Corrector". To be truthful l didn’t just happen across this product my sister had some and l thought ld give it a test before buying it! PACKAGING The usual Clinique box - floral leafy pastel covered box, inside we can find is a 8 ml tube - in a pastel green with a silver top - all lettering is in a silver colour. Its plain simple and effective - nothing more can be said really! DIRECTIONS OF USE The Clinique counter girl told me firstly... Read review

Zit no more!!!!
Review of Clinique Quick Corrector by  nuttynaomi

Advantages: Covers zits!!
Disadvantages: Goes a bit funny after a while.

...It really does make them disapear if used properly. -- I've had my Clinique Quick Corrector now for about 2 and a bit years (I bought it from Larnaca Airport to be precise!) and all the lettering has worn off the bottle so all of the review is based on personal experence and from the Clinique website!!!! -------------------------------------- Price:- It retails ay around £11.50 and varies. at the airport it was about £10 so a little cheaper but not much difference. You can buy all Clinique products from Boots online and in store, garden.co.uk, and many more places. If you buy from boots then you get your boots points of course and garden.co.uk are the same price as boots but are a lot faster at delivery and every gift wrap it for you if you wish---for free! You dont get points with them but last time i ordered i got... Read review

Where are you spot?
Review of Where's Spot? - Eric Hill by  rosebud10

Advantages: Great Great book.
Disadvantages: none

...This review, is about one of the best childrens authors, and artists around. And also about one of the bests childrens book character. ~~~~~~~~~ Eric Hill ~~~~~~~~~ Eric Hill was born in London on the 7th of September 1927. He has over the years written and drawn strips for in papers, and magzines. But in 1976, his first child Christopher was born. Eric decided to set to work on a story, that he would be able to read to his precious son when he was slightly older. It was a story about a little puppy. He worked on it for a while, and by the time christopher was two, the book was ready to read to him as a bedtime story. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spots First book ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eric hill decided that he wanted this book published. His little boy loved it, so why shouldn't other children too. So in 1980, when the first spot... Read review

FATAL: Spots will die
Review of T-Zone Clear Up Spot Dots by  happy_kitty

Advantages: Visibly shrinks spots
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

...Don't you just hate your skin sometimes? You cleanse, tone and moisturise, eat your fruit and veggies, but yet, out of nowhere, a spot crops up. Now, generally I have okay skin, but now and then a spot will still rear its ugly head. Whenever I get a spot, they annoy me to the max. I will load it with spot gel every 10 minutes, but it will still take several days before it begins to shrink noticeably. T-Zone Clear Up Spot Dots. They sound kind of cool, don't they? That's what I thought when I spotted them in my local Boots store. I picked up the green box, which sported the 'T-zone' logo, the product name in a bold lettering and a small picture of a clear-skinned teenage girl. Key phrases were also written on the front, to lure potential customers: 'Organic tea tree' 'Intense targeted action' 'Gets to the root of skin... Read review

Out Damn Spot...
Review of FunWithSpot.com by  jillmurphy

Advantages: Clear, simple, fun, educational.
Disadvantages: None, except clearing it from your Favourites.

...... not really! Aww. I was clearing out Conor and Kieran's favourites folder, or rather we were. And it was time to say goodbye to Fun With Spot. Conor's seven and Kieran's almost six and we've not been there now in a long time. Time was though, when it was always top of the list or thereabouts. Spot the dog, creation of author Eric Hill, is a favourite of many children around the world and deservedly so. He's a simply drawn, friendly little character, reminiscent of the simplicity of that other childhood favourite, Dick Bruna's Miffy (Miffy rocks by the way), he's got a bright, happy personality and he explores his world with enthusiasm in a way that gently reassures children that new experiences are good things. For "foundation stage" children - those aged between two and four - his website provides an equally happy, easy, secure... Read review

Spot Shot certainly hit my Spot!
Review of 1001 Spot Shot Carpet Stain Remover by  HotBabes

Advantages: Easy to use, effective, does what it says.
Disadvantages: Availability, the 'scent' may be offputting for some.

...a bit and the mix of damp carpet and the small amount of milk in the tea also started to make it rather whiffy. So 4 days later, the earliest chance I had, I headed to our local ironmongers to see what was on offer (they tend to have a bigger selection that the supermarket). 15 minutes later, with some help from the staff and £5.25 lighter I walked out with 1001 Spot Shot for Carpets. Now initially, I was reluctant to buy another 1001 product when the one I had hadn't worked so I looked at all the different variants of Vanish along with other makes. However, Spot Shot claims "..with it's fresh scent formula it provides immediate help in removing even the toughest stains without scrubbing. Just a quick blast and stains disappear before your eyes. Odours disappear too, eliminated by specially formulated neutralisers. Even old stains from... Read review

Spot The Treasure
Review of Spot's Treasure Hunt - Eric Hill by  belfin

Advantages: Flaps and clues to solve
Disadvantages: Flaps can get torn after a lot of use.

...***Background*** Spot books come in lots of different forms and Eric Hill has made this lovable character famous on television as well as in his fantastic books. There are lots of different board books, sound books and flap books available to keep differently aged children happy. ***The Story*** The story starts, “Spot was playing in the garden with his friends Tom, Helen and Steve. ‘My dad has a new game for us to play,’ said Spot. Just then, Spot’s dad came into the garden. ‘Are you ready to play my new game?’” Behind the flap of the garden gate you can see Spot’s dad appear. He tells them that he has made a treasure hunt for them and gives them a list of 6 different clues for them to decipher. Throughout the book the friends hunt behind a variety of different flaps including flowers, sacks and even up... Read review

Walk with Spot.
Review of Spot's First Walk - Eric Hill by  neenn

Advantages: A great lift-the-flap book for young children.
Disadvantages: Flaps could be ripped off by excited 'little' hands!!

...Yet another firm favourite of mine for pre-school children. ~ Eric Hill & Spot ~ Eric Hill has had huge success with this lovable puppy which he introduced to the masses in 1980. More than quarter of a century on Spot books are still hugely popular with very young children, demonstrating the wide appeal of Spot and the talents of Eric Hill in writing and illustrating books for this age group. Spot also has an official website which is well worth a visit for those of you with Spot fans in the house! www.funwithspot.com There is also an animated series of Spot and a range of educational videos available relating to time, counting, the alphabet etc... Following the success of his first book 'Where's Spot' in 1980, Eric Hill has gone on to write and illustrate a huge number of Spot books, all of which contain experiences... Read review

Spot, Spot, lovable Spot!
Review of Where's Spot? - Eric Hill by  pianos

Advantages: Flaps to lift, animals to find, educational, well loved characters
Disadvantages: none

...One of the most recognisable characters to pre-school children, after TV favourites like the Teletubbies, must be Spot the dog. Eric Hill has written many books about this lovable puppy, together with his parents Sam and Sally and his friends. "Where's Spot"is one of the simplest of the story and revolves around Sally looking for Spot at dinner time. She looks all over the house and finds all the other animals but no Spot, until the tortoise helps her out. All the pages have flaps to lift - lift up the cover on the bed to find the crocodile, open the box to find penguins, monkey in the wardrobe etc etc, making it excellent both for co-ordination and learning animal names. An all time classic... Read review
