This is a show for beauty therapists and only trusted brands and products are sold here, at retail price. When I walked past the Fake Bake stand, I saw someone getting a spray tan, I stayed and watched for a few minutes to see the outcome and when the girl stepped out the tent, she looked amazing. Advantages: non streaky, great colour
Disadvantages: prolonged removal period

...I brought this product as it was on offer in a suermarket so thought i would give it a go....found that the instructions were very clear and helpful so after showering as directed i sprayed the tan evenly all over and allowed it to dry...found that within the hour it had taken effect and was tanning my body eveny and wthout any streaks...was very pleased as over the night the tanning had further increased and left me with a really radiant glow...made me feel confident and sexy every girls dreams!!! When leaveing it to wear off it did take time to come off and wore off quicker in some areas compared to others...i found using body scrubs were helpful and effectively removed it from my skin hassle free...

Disadvantages: Smeared, badly designed, crap and generally disastrous

...on the bottle, just the words "Self Tan Spray" in ten languages. But then you would know that having bought the stuff wouldn't you? Because it comes in a smooth, silvery white box with the same written across it. The box collapses open into a flat sheet with the instructions for use printed on the inside- very useful. Yes, of course I see myself keeping a crappy bit of card alongside the bottle on the bathroom shelf. Oh well, at least the instructions are straightforward, and not exactly difficult to remember. The contents are 125ml, enough for several legs only applications (my arms tan!) and a few full body. The price is £7.99, which is fairly average for a self tan, although cheaper are to be found- my Soltan was the same price, but for 25ml more product. The Perfect Tan - Out of a bottle!

Advantages: I love the smell! Non streaky/non orange if applied correctly.
Disadvantages: Don't over-rub or it will remove the tan

...to apply a very thin layer and top it up if you wish the next day. Applying too much makes it uneven and/or streaky. AFTER APPLICATION You may have noticed the smell while you were applying it. If not you'll notice it when it is in the process of developing. I quite like the smell as fake tans go - I couldn't really describe it very accurately but St Tropez describe it as a 'relaxing aromatic scent' and I suppose that's not too far off the mark. It's not a chemical smell like some of the spray tans you can buy. You MUST NOT have any water contact with the parts you applied tan to until the next morning. If you do, you'll have white splash marks and look rather strange. You must also avoid perspiring for 24-48 hours after application because that can also make the colour run. Review of St. Tropez Self Tan Lotion

Most natural tan!

Advantages: Natural tan, long lasting, easy to apply
Disadvantages: smells

...I use this product regularly and think it is the best fake tan of them all! My best results have been when I exfoliate before and moisturise 3 hours before applying the tan. So I recommend doing this before you fake tan. Most of the time I skip this step as it still does acheive excellent results. I think it is important to leave 3 hours after moisturising for the skin to soak up the moisture otherwise this can make your tan not develop as deep. The fake tan goes on brown so you can see where you are putting it a lot of the other fake tans out there go on colourless therefore you can't see where you have put it on and how heavy you have put it on. If I buy a new bottle I find the pump difficult to get the fake tan out however it does get going eventually. It does go on streaky however aslong I cover the area with fake tan...

Disadvantages: Hard to apply (especially with gloves)
