...Over the last few years there seems to have been a boom in energy drinks. 'Red Bull' was one of the first, is the best known and is certainly the market leader in the energy drinks niche. Review of Spiked Silver

The bitch is back! (Spike: Expanded Edition - Elvis Costello)

Advantages: Smooth,more chilled than his other albums with a much slower pace.
Disadvantages: It took so long getting to us!

...Spike (1989) was well worth the wait, as there was nearly a two year gap between this album and Blood & Chocolate. But when I first put this album in my tape player (showing my age now), and I heard the first song ''This Town'' with lyrics like 'everybody in this town thinks your a bastard'; I sighed a hugh sigh of relief. Costello was back with more of those addictive comments of society that I love more than chocolate. The album uncharacteristically takes a slower pace with the second song "Let him dangle", a lazy jeering song with seriously dark undertones. Then it slows down even more with the third song (and my favourite) "Deep dark truthful mirror", the piano and trumpets in this are really spectacular in a relaxed easy way. ...Spike Dudley ; Commonly referred to as " Little " Spike Dudley - and rightly so as they are clearly mentioning his size in that statement, the reason? he is around 5'5 and 150 pounds (or as the commentators say " a buck 50 ") and so he does not have the look of a wrestler nor does he have the strength but he sure has the athleticism and heart of a wrestler. He does moves which quite frankly I at least; find hard to believe - such as where he is thrown around like a rag doll. Such as, when he has come into the WWF I have seen him feud with people such as Bubba Ray and D-Von who are his " half brothers " a.k.a The Dudley Boyz who are table driven maniacs who like to put Spike through the wood at unbelievable velocity. Uniross Sprint 90 crawls across the line

Advantages: Fast Charge Times

...Every since I bought my first digital camera, rechargeable batteries have become a must. My first charger, the Uniross RC101159 had coped admirably for 4 years with my trusty Olympus 1.3 megapixel camera. However, when I upgraded to my Samsung 7 megapixel camera. The 1300mAH batteries were no longer able to cut the mustard for more than 5 or 6 shots. As Uniross had demonstrated with their earlier model, the quality that they posess, I went for the Sprint 90 model as the charge time was far superior to anything I had seen before. The charger also came with the more powerful 2100mAh batteries which I thought would solve all my problems. According to the instructions, the unit would charge my 2100 batteries up in 90 minutes and my 1300 ones in under an hour. In reality the 2100 batteries are only taking 30-40 minutes to charge...

I wouldn't expect anything less from Spike!

Advantages: Hilarious and parents won't fall asleep reading it

...I grew up as an avid fan of Spike Milligan thanks to my English father who lived for the Goon Show etc. I bought this book on a whim and have since decided to shop impulsively more often! What a beautiful book it is. It is hard to decided which is better - the illustrations or the stories and poems. I should point out that the book does infact contain Spike's own illustrations. He has such a vivid imagination that the most ridiculous stories seem real and believable to the reader. I have a sneaking suspicion that although this is a childrens book it was really being aimed at parents although my 9 year old has laughed himself to sleep when I have read bits to him. I particularly recommend Sir Nobonk and the Terrible, Awful, Dreadful, Naughty, Nasty Dragon, although if you can get your mouth around the names and language...

I soon discovered you only needed a little bit to go a LONG way and my first attempt was something of a miny disaster!
