...I've always had a nokia phone,but after friends and family began getting the samsung E600 i thought i'd give it a try! luckily, i didnt have to pay much for it as my friend sold it me 2nd hand so it only cost me £30. A lightweight phone that takes both photos and videos (Although there not very long, about 10/15 seconds) No snooze button on the alarm clock, so you often fall back asleep and then realise your late when you finally wake up! You can have the alarm tone as any ring tone that you have in your phone. The colour can be changed of the front flashing light i.e blue, green, purple and light colours can be changed for when you recieve a message or missed call. Continuously beeps when you have got a message until it is read, which can be annoying if you forget to put your phone on silent before you go to sleep. Holds 200 txt...

Samsung E600 - novelty slightly worn out(?)

Advantages: Caller ID, Ease of use, *Sensitive keypad, Looks
Disadvantages: Cannot share files between phones very well, fairly bad camera, Sensitive camera button located at side, Needs to be configured

E600 Scenic

Advantages: Very fast and reliable
Disadvantages: 40GB of memory

...Scenic e600 is OK for gaming but would be excellent for business. Its fast and reliable what more do you need. I did a nice upgrade to make it handle vista... i strongly recommend not putting vista on it due to it will not recognise the graphics driver and you need to use system graphics which is horrible. Now it just serves as a work computer. The amazing 2.6Ghz which is has is the best feature of this desktop computer. Been serving me well for over 3 years i think and has never broken down... Its very reliable. The 512Mb ram it comes with... get rid of it. Put about 4GB of ram in there and you got the perfect computer. Just say NO SPV *UPDATE*

Advantages: Screen size is big
Disadvantages: Very slow & Battery life

...and being far too slow. Each time I had to phone orange to say this one has a software problem, they sent another one out. Every other day they would come and collect the faulty phone. But if you send back 2 phones with the same problem they have to send you the updated version it's in there terms & conditions. After the 2nd I was getting angry. I even told them I would go else where. They gave me the SPV E100, after the 6th phone. The last 2 phones I had, had problems with the profiles section where it was stuck, could not adjust it nor could I use the hands free on it. If the software wasn't a problem I think I would have said it's a good phone. Advantages: Excellent Introduction to PDA's - if you've not had one before.
Disadvantages: Poor battery Life

...I've just upgraded to the SPV M600 - it's the first non Nokia phone I've had and it was something of a struggle to get my head around all of the features and to get used to the somewhat different way of doing things. I won't try to list all of the features- if you've had plenty of features on your phone before, suffice to say it's got most of them, although I was disconcerted at first to find no radio, stopwatch,countdown timer etc, which I had found very useful on my old phone. However, this is where the different way of doing things comes in - many features are available for purchase as extra programmes to be run via the pocket PC software, which forms the basic operating system for the PDA function of the phone. SPV - Slow Poor Volatile

...Having given up my Nokia N95 for the SPV E650 I was hopeful for the phone. ...I've bought this cellphone almost two years ago, and still I can say about it's working excelent. It has a large display, after two years no dead pixels, the keyboard works perfectly, I had only one problem with it, and I heard that most of the spv c600 have it: after a few months the joystick begins working a bit harder. The solution for this bug is: wd-40, you just have to spray under the joystick and it will work imediatly. Now, regarding it's design, I only regret the fact that it isn't available in black like it's older brother SPV C500, but the two actual colors match perfectly together: dark gray( the main housing) and silver (the keyboard and the margin around the display).
