CAFFE PASTA ST IVES CORNWALL
Advantages: Good Large portions of pasta
Disadvantages: Lasagna, not as good as Steve makes
...This is one of my favourite eating Places in St Ives Cornwall.
In 2008 we were not able to use it as there had been a fire in the building, which was badly damaged and took oabout a year to restore it, which as it was a listed building had to be back to how it was.
It is located on Wharf Road so overlooks the Harbour.
It has about 40 covers so is not overly large, but as it is popular Booking is strongly advised, even when we visit St Ives in October.
As the name of the place CAFFE PASTA PIZZA suggests that is the main things on the menu, but there are also Steaks.
The staff are very attentive without being obtrusive, and they obviously have been well trained with a good work ethic.
Starters :-
Soup, on the nights we were in Was Green Pea one night and Wild Mushroom the other. What I like is that you get a Large...

15 THE WARREN OLD COTTAGE ST IVES CORNWALL
Advantages: VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS
Disadvantages: Had to come home.
...If you are looking for a Holiday Cottage with all mod cons, stop now, but if you want one with a view to die for and great location read on.
On our 39th Annual Visit to St Ives I thought I would give 15 The Warren a go.
When ever I had done an availability search on WWW.STIVESHOLIDAYS.COM this cottage had often showed as available. What could be the problem I thought, so being inquisative I booked it.
For the Week 11-18th October it would be £300, not the cheapest option but far from the dearest.
This includes all Gas and Electric.
Also payable is a returnable £100 damage deposit.
This cottage sleeps 3.
It is located on a street named the Warren, just two minutes from the Train Station and Bus Station, so ideal if like us you arrive by public transport.
You enter through a Blue Wooden Front Door, ahead of you is...

St Ives Cornwall
Advantages: Beautiful, picturesque
Disadvantages: Not too good if weather is not good
...St Ives in Cornwall is the most beautiful place in England, with its winding little roads and stunning views you will fall in love with it the minute you arrive.
It has everything you need from a holiday ( providing the weather is good)
St Ives has many beaches and coves, the main beach being Porthminster, it is huge and flat and in the summer it is heaving with tourists, the gentle slope to the sea is ideal for small children as it does not get too deep too quick. There are lots of facilities including deck chair hire and beach huts. Shops selling ice creams and snacks are also available
The other large beach is Porthmeor, which is primarly a surfing beach, I would not recommend this for small children as it can be quite rough and you will be surprised at how quickly the tide comes in. Teenager love this part of St Ives and there...

TIBBLES COTTAGE FOR A ST IVES HOLIDAY
Advantages: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Disadvantages: Have to climb two sets of stairs for the best view.
...TIBBLES COTTAGE, COURT COCKING, St IVES CORNWALL, is where we have just spent a week.
The Cottage can be rented through Lanhams of St Ives.
It is located in a small lane called Court Cocking ( do not ask the meaning of the name) which runs from the Harbour up to the main Street of St Ives called Fore Street.
The front door is a Stable type door, which is about 10 yards from the Harbour, ideal in the morning to make a Coffee then sit by the Harbour enjoying the view.
The cottage is 3 storied.
GROUND FLOOR:-
This is the main living area, at one end ,as can be seen in the photograph there is a small blue Settee in front of a sash window that looks out onto the lane. There are also 2 fairly comfortable chairs. I had pulled a muscle in my back the previous week but found these chairs OK.
Also in this area are...

Life In Lelant
Advantages: Sun, Sea, and Sex
Disadvantages: Isolation thats hard to swallow
...My life is such a trial; I cannot begin to tell you. Every morning I awake at 5am to do two hours of Ciao reads before taking the dogs out. It's a very tough life living in the warmest part of the UK, waking up and having to walk your dogs down river banks, or along over two miles of pure golden sand, even at this time of year the sun can be beating down on you. Such a trial??
Welcome To My Guide To Lelant
The History
Lelant is a small community about 4 miles from central St Ives, in Cornwall. Lelant sits on an estuary joining the River Hayle with the Atlantic Ocean; as a result we have both river, and sea. Lelant's history documentation only goes back as far as 1708, however it's known that back in the 1300's a town sat upon the banks where now sits a golf course. In a freak storm the town was lost along with all its...

ST IVES THIRTY EIGHT YEARS AND STILL MAGIC
Advantages: FAMILY FRIENDLY
Disadvantages: Still looking for any.
...First went to St Ives with my girl friend in 1969, will go this year in September with the SAME Girl now my wife for our 36th Visit.
The first time, we had arrived by the little train that runs from St Erth (On lthe main line) to St Ives, MAGIC. And we feel this is the best way to View St Ives. Hopefully it is Sunny (Always seems to be) sit on the RIGHT side of the train facing direction of Travel and glue your nose to the Window, Watch the miles of golden sands at Lelant then St IVES will appear floating on a sea of Blue water as good or even better than all the Med Resorts of Italy and the South of France.
As a young Couple we went out to explore that first night, and could not work out why which ever street we went down we seemed to come to the Sea. Then in daylight viewing from the Top of the town you see that it is...

St Deny's, the clean hotel for my dirty weekend!
Advantages: Polite and helpful staff, clean hotel.
Disadvantages: Bed a bot on the small side for my husband.
...After an incredible weekend away with my darling husband to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary, I have now decided to do my first and quite possibly my last hotel review!
Our destination of choice for this excursion was to be a place new to us, so of course the hotel had to be in a prime location at a price we could afford?fortunately we seemed to fall on our feet so to speak on both of these points.
Our destination, to be exact was York, and due to the sheer number of attractions available to us, we wanted a hotel reasonably central, or at least within walking distance of the few sights we wished to see.
After some extensive research, mostly through the designated York tourist board site, we came across the perfect hotel.
St Denys hotel, a small but very quaint hotel, housing 13 rooms only, but with it?s own parking...

St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Fighting
Advantages: Great Scrub that does what it says ib the Packaging!
Disadvantages: May not be suitable for people with dryer skin types.
...This Review is on The St Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish Fighting. It is reccommended for people with Oily / Blemish Prone Skin.
I first heard about this particular product when i was watching a Make-Up video on youtube. The lady in the video praised this product so i decided to buy it.
It says on the lable that it "helps prevent blackheads and unclogs pores. Promotes healthier - looking skin in just 7 days".
So what do i think about this St Ives Formula?
WOW. I love this product. It is affordable at around £4.00 and this is a great price considering the scrub actually works for me. It has small ground up exfoliating beads and this removes the dead skin cells on the surface of your skin. This helps unclog pores around your face and therefore reducing the risk of breakouts.
It is not a harsh product, as some exfoliaters can...
