...just the odd feeling of familiarity. Whatever it was, this wasn't the PS2's Goldeneye...more the PS2's Duke Nukem. An enjoyable and quite addictive game, but it didn't seem to posses the memory's of a good single player game to really warrant any sort of a special place in the disk tray. Acceptable in every way in terms of graphics (for the time) which lets remember was fairly early in the PS2's life, the sounds may have been a little weak sounding but not too bad. The game play was more geared towards fun than realism, thankfully, and the longevity was there to unlock all the secrets (they depending on things like difficulty and Bond Moments) and the multiplayer whilst not as timeless as it's older cousin was still an addictive little blighter. A Little London Luxury

...are usually too restrictive to be useful, but I investigated further and found that there was a room available for the weekend we wanted it, on the spring break rate and in a good, central London location - at the Crowne Plaza St James. The offer rate was valid for standard rooms only (rather than superior rooms or suites) and began at £60 per night including breakfast for up to two adults, varying up to around £100 per night for those hotels that had higher non-offer rates; we paid £95 a night for our room. To me, this still seems like quite a lot of money, but a quick search on google showed that staying in the nearest Holiday Inn (incidentally, part of the same chain as Crowne Plaza and usually much more budget-friendly) for the same weekend would have actually cost more! More to the point, the normal room rate for a standard room...

GUINESS BREWERY & MUSEUM DUBLIN I am rather partial to a drop of the blackstuff, so when my son arranged a weekend break for my good lady wife and my self to Dublin, I had to visit the Guiness Brewery and Museum. Now perhaps I am biased, but this was one of the best tours I've taken. St James Gate is the entrance to the brewery; the gate is enormous, with big letters spelling out its name. A real photo opportunity. The brewery looks like a big factory, but inside you find that the building gets larger the higher up you go, just like a pint glass!! When you walk in, you are directed to the center of the floor, where you see the original signed lease for the building. Everyone is given a clear token with a drop of Guinness in the middle - save this, as you will need it at the top to get your 'free...
