Advantages: Pet friendly Store
Disadvantages: Just a tad more than the supermarket

...Having been to the new St Stephens shopping centre just yesterday, and having ventured round a bit more of it, I figure the time has come to review it... The shopping centre opened in September 2007, as part of a regeneration project in Hull, which included the development of the city's transport interchange alongside, & the re-location of the Hull Truck Theatre. The centre is beautifully designed, with the glass roof representing a giant wave, but, whilst the design may LOOK good, it is fundamentally flawed in as much as the doors at either end are in a direct line, creating a 'wind tunnel' effect, giving rise to the local nickname 'St Freezens'. Shop till you drop

Advantages: Modern, streamlined, ample parking, stylish, great range of shops.
Disadvantages: Trade of local shops may suffer

...The building of the St Stephen's Shopping Complex had been underway for a couple of years. It was conceived as part of the City's regeneration and streamlining. For someone like me, who has lived in Hull 55 years, it has been interesting to see, though a little poignant at times. MY MEMORIES When I was a child I attended St Stephen's church which was situated on Spring Street. There had been a much grander St Stephens Church nearby but this had fallen with Hitler's bombing campaign of World War Two. All that was left on this site was a small grassy area and a couple of grave stones. When we would cut across this site as children it was hard to believe that a church with a tall spire could have ever been built on such a small area. After reading that thrilling book I thought I go to the beginning and felt compelled to read the first of the Womens Murder Club series....I'm glad I did. 1st Chance Our leading lady in this novel is Lindsey Boxer. Lindsey is a homicide inspector in San Francisco. The story is about a spout of 'honeymoon murders'. A maniac begins viciously slaughtering newly wed couples on their wedding nights. As you would expect Lindsay is sickened by the deaths (which are gruesome), and is determined to put the killert behind bars. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin! *Packaging and Price* The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. When buying, look carefully at the bottle to check you have the right product though as the St Tropez body polish comes in a very similar bottle...
