Review of 1st time school of motoring.

Advantages: Cheapest I found, free door collection. Fast pass - No time wasting.
Disadvantages: Change of car.

...Well I started my driving tuition with 1st time because it was the cheapest I could find in the area. The first 4 lessons were only £60 and I even did a small amount of driving in lesson 1. The car was a new diesel corsa, which was a gem to drive. Only stalled it once. The instructor was flexible but wasn't fully qualified (ie trainee instructor). However the quality of the teaching was good. He was a bit too enthusiastic, and got frustrated sometimes, possibly because he realised my potential, and I changed to Dave Miller after 8 lessons. That was a mistake. Dave Miller was the total opposite. Most of the lessons, which were slightly more expensive, were spent parked up talking, rather than gaining essential experience on the road. In 5th lesson 10 mins driving, 50 mins talking. The first couple involved much more driving. £20...

My School

Advantages: Fantastic School
Disadvantages: I miss out on new building

...and current. The building is fully environmentally freindly, conserving energy, water, heat, electricity, everything! We will have 2 huge full sized gyms, seperate hall with proper stage and storage for off stage props etc. Our new drama programme will insure this is put to good use! Our school is set to go to the top Right now it's dirty, dingy, building is falling apart. But we still have a lot of stuff, we're still one of the best in Swindon for facilities. ---------------------- Teaching ---------------------- The teaching in St. Josephs is supurb. ...I had booked tickets to go and see the Agatha Christie play 'The Mousetrap' at St. Martin's theatre in London with my mum for her birthday as she has wanted to see the play for many years. Because of us living up in Manchester it was a case of having to stay the night in London to enable us to see the play. After all this effort I hoped it would be worth it! The play: The Mousetrap has been playing now in London for nearly 60 years and is the longest running play in the world. The show's first performance was on the 6th of October 1952 and it started off by being shown in the Theatre Royal in Nottingham and then toured various theatres across the UK before finally settling in the West End at the New Ambassadors theatre where it stayed until 23rd of March 1974. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin! *Packaging and Price* The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. ...I'm a big fan of the tycoon series of games - mall tycoon, zoo tycoon, casino tycoon etc so I thought that school tycoon would be another game to add to that list. I bought it for £5 at PC world and, at that price, you pretty much can't go wrong! There are a couple of different modes to this game. There is the story mode, where you have to build a school from scratch on a limited budget and operate at a profit but also meet the standards of education that you need to achieve eg sports/discipline/attendance etc. You can do this by employing the right (strict) teachers. This is where the challenge lies as obviously there is a trade-off between employing the best teachers and paying lower wages. You also get to design the layout of your school and choose what to build and where. There are facilities such as cafeterias, staff rooms...

This topic caught my eye seeing as I am now almost qualified as a teacher and wanted to reflect back on my own school experience! So, the following are a selection of my ten best school memories.
