St Tropez Bronzing Mist
Review of St Tropez Bronzing Mist by
lilyellowfish
Advantages: Gives you some colour - better than nothing.
Disadvantages: Expensive, hard to absorb, you still have to rub in.
...it a go. I use Fake Bake Spray and as this was called St Tropez Bronzing Mist, I made the mistake of assuming it was going to be the same.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What St Tropez say's about it's Bronzing Mist
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"St Tropez Bronzing Mist has a weightless application that results in a spectacular natural looking tan. Perfect and even instant colour dries in 60 seconds allowing you to mist it on at any time. This self adjusting mist is oil free and your tan will deepen over 3 hours. Aloe Vera leaf juice and AHA (fruit acid) allows for the richest, longest lasting tan possible. Like all St Tropez products, Bronzing Mist has a pleasant fragrance and is ideal for the whole body including the face."
How much of that is true? Well it is suitable for the whole body. It takes up to 5 minutes...

St Tropez - Whipping me up into a Summer Frenzy!
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
Fox40
Advantages: Natural looking tan that lasts for several days
Disadvantages: Needs a bit of practice to get just right
...and highlighters to ensure that my face matches the rest of me! St Tropez do their own facial bronzer which adapts to the shade and tone of your skin in the same way as the Whipped Bronze Mousse does, so your tan should look pretty flawless.
Just a quick note on finishing off. Use the tan corrector wipes anywhere that you think you may have overdone the application. However, bear in mind that if you use these wipes straight away, they will removal all the tan from the area you wipe, so be sure to reapply to avoid streaks and patches. Also, even though you have been wearing the mit (surely you won't have ignored this piece of advice?!) be sure to clean you hands throughly with the wipes. Applying the tan to your hands is a bit of a problem since you will invariably feel the need to wash once you're done applying the mousse. The wipes can help get...

ST Tropez Autobronzant
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
CezaWeza
Advantages: Nice even colour, can see where it has been applied already
Disadvantages: Messy and expensive
...*Introduction*
The St Tropez autobronzant is a thick lotion which you apply on your face and body, and then leave to absorb for 4 hours before washing off to reveal your tan. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin!
*Packaging and Price*
The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. When buying, look carefully at the bottle to check you have the right product though as the St Tropez body polish comes in a very similar bottle...

St Tropez Self-Tan Mousse
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
bugsy121
Advantages: Easy to apply, even coverage, no streaks, won't make you go orange
Disadvantages: May make you smell a bit like a stale biscuit for a few days after application
...My first experience of St Tropez tanning mousse was approximately 2 years ago when I worked alongside the beauty section within a department store. As part of the promotion within the sunglasses section we all created the summer look, including the use of the St Tropez tan to create that gorgeous beach babe look. Well all I can say is I was very pleasantly surprised.
My previous experience of Fake Tan using a pump spray from Garnier left me hideously orange, very much resembling an oompah-loompah from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Needless to say I was very apprehensive about using fake tan after that point.
Prior to tan application, I had to go through all the usual rigour of exfoliation, moisturising and general skin preparation. It's worth noting here that if u plan to defuzz any areas of your body then it's worth doing...

St Tropez Self Tan
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
samy12345
Advantages: Great colour and very even colour
Disadvantages: Takes time and alot of effort
...St Tropez is a great range that contains all the products needed for a fantastic natural looking all year round tan.
It claims to work instantly for a streak less application that will last for days.
It comes in an 8oz bottle with a handy pump action, which makes it a lot easier to use.
I paid £26.50 for this, which I know does seem like a lot.
I initially brought the St Tropez mousse however this brought me out in a rash so I had to discontinue using it. My friend used this lotion so I borrowed a little bit and I didn’t have the same reaction so decided to give it ago. I did love this at first because it brought me out in such a dark tan and I even had one done professionally, which cost £25, I thought after it was a waste of money because it really is easy enough to do it at home and get the same results.
This is in my...

An overnight trip to St Tropez
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
Tiggilina
Advantages: deceivingly good colour
Disadvantages: quite pricey, very messy!
...Dilema,
Just been on holiday, have come back with a great tan, but not as great as you expected and it is fading fast because of the terrible English weather!
Solution: St Tropez self tanning lotion
So I paid just over £50 for St Tropez Step 1 (Exfoliant), Step 2 (moisturiser) and Step 3 (Auto Brozant).
As I found out later, if you follow the instructions on the bottle, you should get a good result. For a virgin self tanner (which I was), it all looks a bit daunting after having paid out so much money!
I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and once again I have been proven right.
So Step 1, I am standing in the bathroom covered in exfoliator, with my poor boyfriend standing behind me exfoliating my back for me.
Step 2, carefully moisturising every part that might go a little bit dry or dodgy
Step...

St tropez self tan mousse
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
mikehel
Advantages: Lovely Natural colour, easy to apply once you have got the hang!
Disadvantages: Price, Guide colour seems to change
...This is by far the best self tan that i have tried. I have tried a few other brands but they are still standing on the shelf in my bathroom half full. I have always been a bit scared of applying self tan and so had never ventured any further than my legs. However whan i bought my bottle of St tropez the results were so good, i had a go at putting it on my full body, and the results were amazing. It can be a bit tricky getting the hang of applying the mousse, but once you have mastered it then it is really easy.
My advice would be to use the Body polisher and moisturiser as these are both really nice products, better than any others ive tried.
You can buy gift box sets which includes everything in one box - self tan mousse - body polisher and moisturiser. This is what i purchased first to try it out, i now buy them seperately...

St Tropez - fantastic, worth the expensive prices!
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
verna-carina88x
Advantages: as on review - colour, application, shade range, versatility, blending
Disadvantages: Price but I don't mind paying for excellent goods, smell is a bit weird!
...My mother introduced me to St Tropez when I was 13 years old. I never really used it, other than the occasional dab on my face using the face tanning cream. However, I began using the Tropez range quite often because I am not a fan of sunbeds; having many moles on my body, I am very cautious of UV tanning.
My skin is very pale yet this mousse formulation is great and never looks overdone. One time, I applied wayyy too much when I was in a hurry yet it looked quite natural, not the orange baked look I had accidentally excperienced with other brands such as Eco Tan spray. All that is really required is a little scrubbing and exfoliation of the skin beforehand, whether eaely that morning or 10 mins before! Also, moisturiser can come in handy on any rough areas - the tanning mousse, like most others, finds it hard to absorb...

St. Tropez, not as good as one might think
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
Lola_G
Advantages: the closest fake tan to real tan
Disadvantages: expensive, if you use it too much your skin gets used to it and it doesn't work anymore
...Having tried just about any self tanning lotion on the market, I decided to invest £25 on a bottle of St Tropez because verybody said it was magic..
I was quite happy with the results the first 4-5 times I used it but £25 for a bottle is definitely too much.
My skin is like mozzarella normally but the cream worked and I woke up really brown as if I had been on holiday. The colour was almost even and I had no patches. The only slight problem was with my hands and feet. The colour lasted a week.
Bad Problems: I used this cream for almost a year and after a couple of months the cream stopped having any effect on my skin, No matter how many times I applied it, it just didn't work anymore or not as good as before. Sometimes it was working on my face and shoulders only but not on my neck.
Also I started developing brown spots around my...
