...St Tropez is a great range that contains all the products needed for a fantastic natural looking all year round tan. It claims to work instantly for a streak less application that will last for days. It comes in an 8oz bottle with a handy pump action, which makes it a lot easier to use. I paid £26.50 for this, which I know does seem like a lot. I initially brought the St Tropez mousse however this brought me out in a rash so I had to discontinue using it. My friend used this lotion so I borrowed a little bit and I didn?t have the same reaction so decided to give it ago. St Tropez Self-Tan Mousse

Advantages: Easy to apply, even coverage, no streaks, won't make you go orange
Disadvantages: May make you smell a bit like a stale biscuit for a few days after application

...My first experience of St Tropez tanning mousse was approximately 2 years ago when I worked alongside the beauty section within a department store. As part of the promotion within the sunglasses section we all created the summer look, including the use of the St Tropez tan to create that gorgeous beach babe look. Well all I can say is I was very pleasantly surprised. My previous experience of Fake Tan using a pump spray from Garnier left me hideously orange, very much resembling an oompah-loompah from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Needless to say I was very apprehensive about using fake tan after that point. Prior to tan application, I had to go through all the usual rigour of exfoliation, moisturising and general skin preparation. Advantages: Excellent colour, easy to see where applying as it is coloured

...This product has got to be one of the most convincing fake tans I have ever found. Last year, being a very pale shade with the task of being a bridesmaid for one of my mates, I decided that I didn't want my pale skin to clash with the pale dress I had to wear!! So off to a salon to have the St Tropez professional tanning treatment. I was amazed! I emerged from the salon with a decent tan (as it is coloured you can see the effects immediately). The tan developed and I was left looking as though I had been on holiday. It lasted for nearly 2 weeks. A real confidence boost for the vain people amongst us!! After seeing how the professionals do it, I now do it myself!!! It is much better to mix half and half with moisturiser. If you go wrong you just apply another thin coat. Bye Bye stale biscuit smell! St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse

Advantages: New product smells floral and pleasant - seems to colour more evenly too
Disadvantages: still fades a little patchy but think they all do

...This product is for the new improved product (the photo is of the old packaging) I have been a St Tropez devotee for years now, I love its colour and the fact that its so easy to apply. In fact one of my first reviews for dooyoo was for the whipped bronze mousse. In this review, I mentioned that one of the disadvantages was the smell - people compare it to stale biscuits and it's just horrible. The colour is great but the smell lingers, but as all fake tans smell, I just kind of put up with it...until now! 2009 saw St Tropez releasing new improved versions of their best selling products. As well as sleek new black on white packaging, there were major improvements to the smell. ...*Introduction* The St Tropez autobronzant is a thick lotion which you apply on your face and body, and then leave to absorb for 4 hours before washing off to reveal your tan. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin! *Packaging and Price* The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. ...This is by far the best self tan that i have tried. I have tried a few other brands but they are still standing on the shelf in my bathroom half full. I have always been a bit scared of applying self tan and so had never ventured any further than my legs. However whan i bought my bottle of St tropez the results were so good, i had a go at putting it on my full body, and the results were amazing. It can be a bit tricky getting the hang of applying the mousse, but once you have mastered it then it is really easy. My advice would be to use the Body polisher and moisturiser as these are both really nice products, better than any others ive tried. You can buy gift box sets which includes everything in one box - self tan mousse - body polisher and moisturiser. This is what i purchased first to try it out, i now buy them seperately as they...

St Tropez - Good

Advantages: Natural look, Tinted Lotion, Easy to apply, Good price
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to apply, Can stain your hands, clothes etc

...I have tried many Self Tan products over the past couple of years and had heard that St Tropez was good in many reviews, magazines and from friend's that have used the product themselves, so I thought I had better give it ago. I find using a foam self tan easier than some of the spray versions out in the market. St Tropez gives you a lovely, instant colour which is subtle, so you don't look like you have been rolling around in the mud and you get an instant glow whilst your tan is developing. Another advantage of the tint in this lotion, as it allows you to see where you have applied the lotion, which in turn helps prevent streaks. I would definitely recommend using gloves or a sponge whilst applying this product as the tint in the lotion can be difficult to remove from the palms of your hands. St Tropez - quick non streaky tan that is easy to apply yourself!

...I love St Tropez products and usually treat myself to a tan for a special occasion to make me feel good. I have just started using the St Tropez mousse, although hesitant at first (I usually go to the salon and get this applied professionally) I thought I would give it a go. Overall it does what it says on the tin. - streakless, instant colour with a pleasant fragrance. As with the lotion there is a guide colour so you don't miss anywhere. I used a pair of washing up gloves to apply this product! Don't laugh it works, no stained hands and it went on smoothly. So in my opinion if the sun doesn't make a lasting appearance this summer (which could be likely!) purchase the St Tropez tanning mousse to give you that holiday feeling....

St Topez Self Tan lotion

Advantages: Bottle last a long time
Disadvantages: Tan can wash off very easily

...When using this product you had to start in stages by doing a small section at a time. I found it was easier starting with the legs and spraying the product onto my leg then using an old sponge to spread it around as this product stains your hands terribly. It gave you a very good overall tan, although you needed to be sure you had covered all areas. I thought I had covered my feet an ankles well until the product had completely dried and I realised I had patches. I feel this is a good tanning product and the tan is very natural, however it washes off very easily and rubs of when near clothing. The bottle lasts a long time but dont quite feel it is worth the money as there is better products out there which are less hassle....

Great for an even natural tan!

Disadvantages: colour doesn't go as deep as the st tropez lotion, orange hands if you don't use gloves

...I used to use st tropez moose I think it is very easy to apply as it goes on coloured so you can see where you are putting it and it helps you work out places you have missed as they will be white. I also find it goes on evenly and doesn't look streaky when first applied like the lotion does. I think this is the best fake tan for newbies to tanning as it is so easy to use. I sometimes exfoliate and moisturise like you are meant to but then other times skip these steps and it only makes a slight difference. I find the tan does last slightly longer on exfoliated skin as it is scrubbing the dead cells away. I recommend that if you are going to moisturise before to do it a few hours before as if you put on the tan straight after it can affect how deep the tan will go. When I put on the mousse it makes me looked tanned straight...
