ST Tropez Autobronzant
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
CezaWeza
Advantages: Nice even colour, can see where it has been applied already
Disadvantages: Messy and expensive
...*Introduction*
The St Tropez autobronzant is a thick lotion which you apply on your face and body, and then leave to absorb for 4 hours before washing off to reveal your tan. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin!
*Packaging and Price*
The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. When buying, look carefully at the bottle to check you have the right product though as the St Tropez body polish comes in a very similar bottle...

St Tropez Self Tan
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
samy12345
Advantages: Great colour and very even colour
Disadvantages: Takes time and alot of effort
...St Tropez is a great range that contains all the products needed for a fantastic natural looking all year round tan.
It claims to work instantly for a streak less application that will last for days.
It comes in an 8oz bottle with a handy pump action, which makes it a lot easier to use.
I paid £26.50 for this, which I know does seem like a lot.
I initially brought the St Tropez mousse however this brought me out in a rash so I had to discontinue using it. My friend used this lotion so I borrowed a little bit and I didn’t have the same reaction so decided to give it ago. I did love this at first because it brought me out in such a dark tan and I even had one done professionally, which cost £25, I thought after it was a waste of money because it really is easy enough to do it at home and get the same results.
This is in my...

St. Tropez - the winning formulation
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
CarrieTom
Advantages: Easy to apply
Disadvantages: Expensive
...St Tropez, I have to say is the queen of all the fake tans. Alot of research and work has gone into formulating this lotion and it shows. It is the only one on the Market that I have found which disguises stretchmarks and other blemishes. Here are three more reasons why it's so good:
Firstly the Lotion contains aloe vera, which helps the skin absorb the lotion, taking it deep into the epidermis resulting in a very natural tan. This also eliminates the need to rub the tan in - it is better to gently stroke it onto the skin, this teqnique can be hard to master at first but you'll soon get to grips with it.
Secondly it contains a guide colour - a light brown colour which is a vegetable dye so that you can actually to see where you are putting the stuff. I find this very usefull as in the past when using other fake tans I ended...

An overnight trip to St Tropez
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
Tiggilina
Advantages: deceivingly good colour
Disadvantages: quite pricey, very messy!
...Dilema,
Just been on holiday, have come back with a great tan, but not as great as you expected and it is fading fast because of the terrible English weather!
Solution: St Tropez self tanning lotion
So I paid just over £50 for St Tropez Step 1 (Exfoliant), Step 2 (moisturiser) and Step 3 (Auto Brozant).
As I found out later, if you follow the instructions on the bottle, you should get a good result. For a virgin self tanner (which I was), it all looks a bit daunting after having paid out so much money!
I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and once again I have been proven right.
So Step 1, I am standing in the bathroom covered in exfoliator, with my poor boyfriend standing behind me exfoliating my back for me.
Step 2, carefully moisturising every part that might go a little bit dry or dodgy
Step...

St. Tropez, not as good as one might think
Review of St Tropez Self Tan Lotion by
Lola_G
Advantages: the closest fake tan to real tan
Disadvantages: expensive, if you use it too much your skin gets used to it and it doesn't work anymore
...Having tried just about any self tanning lotion on the market, I decided to invest £25 on a bottle of St Tropez because verybody said it was magic..
I was quite happy with the results the first 4-5 times I used it but £25 for a bottle is definitely too much.
My skin is like mozzarella normally but the cream worked and I woke up really brown as if I had been on holiday. The colour was almost even and I had no patches. The only slight problem was with my hands and feet. The colour lasted a week.
Bad Problems: I used this cream for almost a year and after a couple of months the cream stopped having any effect on my skin, No matter how many times I applied it, it just didn't work anymore or not as good as before. Sometimes it was working on my face and shoulders only but not on my neck.
Also I started developing brown spots around my...

St Tropez - Good
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
rose1986
Advantages: Natural look, Tinted Lotion, Easy to apply, Good price
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to apply, Can stain your hands, clothes etc
...I have tried many Self Tan products over the past couple of years and had heard that St Tropez was good in many reviews, magazines and from friend's that have used the product themselves, so I thought I had better give it ago.
I find using a foam self tan easier than some of the spray versions out in the market. St Tropez gives you a lovely, instant colour which is subtle, so you don't look like you have been rolling around in the mud and you get an instant glow whilst your tan is developing. Another advantage of the tint in this lotion, as it allows you to see where you have applied the lotion, which in turn helps prevent streaks.
I would definitely recommend using gloves or a sponge whilst applying this product as the tint in the lotion can be difficult to remove from the palms of your hands. However, if you do stain your hands...

St Tropez a streaky rip-off
Review of St Tropez Whipped Bronze Instant Self-Tanning Mousse by
sophie2506
Advantages: Errrm...??
Disadvantages: Makes you orange, strips your skin, and steals your money!
...Now, I hate to be the only person in the world to find fault with this product, but I can't resist! St.Tropez, the self-tan of self-tanners, the be-all and end-all, the self-tan of Posh and Cat Deeley alike. Heaven in a bottle, surely? Not really, no.
I was drawn to St Tropez after having experienced so many mishaps with cheaper, supposedly inferior brands. Most people have been there; I must have tried at least 10 other products, different brands, different textures and styles. I tried mousses, sprays, lotions, and tissues. I used dark, medium, light, and extra light. The prices varied from 99p to £10, but alas, nothing worked. I felt doomed to be pale and interesting forever more.
So, you see, in my state of despair I gave way to the belief that more money = instantly better quality product. As the product was so expensive...

St Tropez Bronze Mist Superb
Review of St Tropez Instant Bronzing Mist by
bonito
Advantages: The streak free tanning effect and very advatageous as you can see where you are putting the product
Disadvantages: Drys very fast which can sometimes be too fast to keep up with and can cause streaks if not fast enough
...neck. But this product has proved to be very relaible in this area provided the skin is looked after every mornning with a simple moisturising routine.
I would suggest giving it a try, it looks real and my friends think I hang out at the beach getting a tan. SO! give it a go it is a great product, there is no point runing your skin in the sun, when you can obtain exactly the same thing without the risk of premature aging and skin cancer.
Well I would further like to mention that I just bought a bottle of the St Tropez lotion so I can compare which is better to use and I will keep you updated....
