...This is one of my favourite eating Places in St Ives Cornwall. In 2008 we were not able to use it as there had been a fire in the building, which was badly damaged and took oabout a year to restore it, which as it was a listed building had to be back to how it was. It is located on Wharf Road so overlooks the Harbour. It has about 40 covers so is not overly large, but as it is popular Booking is strongly advised, even when we visit St Ives in October. TIBBLES COTTAGE FOR A ST IVES HOLIDAY

...TIBBLES COTTAGE, COURT COCKING, St IVES CORNWALL, is where we have just spent a week. The Cottage can be rented through Lanhams of St Ives. It is located in a small lane called Court Cocking ( do not ask the meaning of the name) which runs from the Harbour up to the main Street of St Ives called Fore Street. The front door is a Stable type door, which is about 10 yards from the Harbour, ideal in the morning to make a Coffee then sit by the Harbour enjoying the view. The cottage is 3 storied. GROUND FLOOR:- This is the main living area, at one end ,as can be seen in the photograph there is a small blue Settee in front of a sash window that looks out onto the lane.
