...*Introduction* The St Tropez autobronzant is a thick lotion which you apply on your face and body, and then leave to absorb for 4 hours before washing off to reveal your tan. It promises to be 'non-greasy' and 'quick drying' with a 'relaxing aromatic scent'. It comes in one shade only, but you can reapply two nights in a row to deepen the tan. I have really pale skin that doesn't tan at all naturally, so I have to be careful what fake tan I use as I can be left with orange coloured skin! *Packaging and Price* The packaging is quite simple and whereas most fake tanning products come in a brown or orange bottle, it is distinctive as it comes in a white bottle with black writing. ...This product has got to be one of the most convincing fake tans I have ever found. Last year, being a very pale shade with the task of being a bridesmaid for one of my mates, I decided that I didn't want my pale skin to clash with the pale dress I had to wear!! So off to a salon to have the St Tropez professional tanning treatment. I was amazed! I emerged from the salon with a decent tan (as it is coloured you can see the effects immediately). The tan developed and I was left looking as though I had been on holiday. It lasted for nearly 2 weeks. A real confidence boost for the vain people amongst us!! ...As a girl who has trouble applying makeup and beauty products, I was sceptical before reaching for the well known self tanner St Tropez. I bought the set -moisturiser, whipped mouse tanner, gloves and exfoliator in a set from Boots. I thought if I was going to attempt the sunkissed look, it would be vital I get it right! On opening the box I was overwhelmed by the instructions : Step 1 - Prepare skin by exfoliating. Step 2 - Use moisturiser on dry areas( I recommend using it everywhere!) St Tropez - Good

Advantages: Natural look, Tinted Lotion, Easy to apply, Good price

...I have tried many Self Tan products over the past couple of years and had heard that St Tropez was good in many reviews, magazines and from friend's that have used the product themselves, so I thought I had better give it ago. I find using a foam self tan easier than some of the spray versions out in the market. St Tropez gives you a lovely, instant colour which is subtle, so you don't look like you have been rolling around in the mud and you get an instant glow whilst your tan is developing. Another advantage of the tint in this lotion, as it allows you to see where you have applied the lotion, which in turn helps prevent streaks. I would definitely recommend using gloves or a sponge whilst applying this product as the tint in the lotion can be difficult to remove from the palms of your hands. ...I have just returned from a holiday and before i went got fake tanned at my local salon using the St Tropez spray tan, as i was away for 10 days i thought it would be useful to take along a fake tanning product to top up my tan and keep me looking browner than my normal china white!. This St Tropez Everyday Tan was recommended and I thought as my base tan was already St Tropez it would be better to keep to the same. The tan was easy to apply and didn't smell badly like some of the fake tanning products on the market. It did take a wee while to soak in so it was best not to apply just before putting on clothes. The texture was nice not too runny or to gloopy. It managed to extend my fake tan's life by a few days but by around day 7 was beginning to look slightly streaky which wasn't quite the look i was going for. I did like it...

I have previously reviewed the St Tropez as a self tanner but it wasn't until recently that I used the polisher that goes along with the self tanner and I found this to be very effective and a must if you are using a self tan. The St Tropez body polisher is sold within the kits of St Tropez Self Tanning Systems and depending on the size the prices can range from around £25 from the smaller kits to £60 for the larger kits. The body polisher can be bought separately too for a price of around £15 for the larger sized bottle of 240ml. ...My first experience of St Tropez tanning mousse was approximately 2 years ago when I worked alongside the beauty section within a department store. As part of the promotion within the sunglasses section we all created the summer look, including the use of the St Tropez tan to create that gorgeous beach babe look. Well all I can say is I was very pleasantly surprised. My previous experience of Fake Tan using a pump spray from Garnier left me hideously orange, very much resembling an oompah-loompah from Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Needless to say I was very apprehensive about using fake tan after that point. Prior to tan application, I had to go through all the usual rigour of exfoliation, moisturising and general skin preparation.
