Be The Stabilo Boss!
Review of Stabilo Boss Highlighters by
thespurs
Advantages: Easy to use and hold, a quality product that you can rely on time after time, a wide range of products and pack sizes
Disadvantages: The value of buying smaller packs is pretty poor - so buy more!
...#Introduction#
The Stabilo Boss Highlighters seem to have been around for a life time. Much like my previous review on Post-it Notes, an office environment, a school or even a home wouldn't be the same without a highlighter pen. These are items that make life a whole lot easier for a number of people and save plenty of time. The Stabilo Boss Highlighters will remain in use for years to come, they will have a function. The computer revolution may be reducing usage slightly but it will be a long time yet before any real effect is noticeable.
#Background#
The highlighters are produced and supplied under the Stabilo Boss brand name. The parent company is Schwan, the company is sometimes known as Schwan Stabilo, depending upon the market it operates in. There are two divisions of Schwan Stabilo, one focusing on cosmetics...

Stabilo is the BOSS!!
Review of Stabilo Boss Highlighters by
BethGrant
Advantages: It is long lasting
Disadvantages: Doesn't say how to refill or where to get refills from
...Stabilo boss - in my opinion, the only name that springs to mind when you think of highlighters!!
If you are ever reading through a piece of text and need to pick out any important and essential facts, then the highlighter is for you. You are able to colour over the words and you can still clearly see the text underneath - the highlighter simply emphasises and draws attention to the words.
The stabilo boss highlighter can be bought separately or in packs. The colours available are: yellow, blue, green, red, turquoise, orange, lavender, pink and lilac. As you can see there are an array of differing colours to suit everyones tastes. And it gets even better as all the colours are fluorescent.
The highlighter itself has a unique shape (the highlighter gets wider nearer to the nib) and has the words 'stabilo boss original' adorning...

Swing and your winning!!
Review of Graco Baby Swing by
emilyo
Advantages: Fun, Gives you a bit of peace, Very tough
Disadvantages: It once collapsed on my daughter as I had not checked it was open properly, toy bar is boring.
.... It is fairly simple to do, though you need good eyesight as it requires so precise fitting. The swing does not come with the four D batteries that are need to operate to automatic swing or music.
Is It Easy To Use?
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
As the swing does not have a top over it is simple to put your child in and out. I found it best to fully open the play tray to 180 degrees so it is in front of the swings leg so the swing can not move while you put your child in. There is a safety harness which must always be used. When you have safely strapped your child in you put down the play tray, being careful not to trap your childs legs as it goes inbetween their legs as an extra measure to stop them from falling out. It clicks in to place so you know it is safe.
To select a speed for the swing you press either the green or red buttons and the swings...

Swinging, Swinging Swinging!
Review of Graco Baby Swing by
BubbleLove
Advantages: Folds Away, Keeps Baby Entertained
Disadvantages: Need to Change Batteries lots.
...point harness to fasten your baby into the swing, and a good sturdy tray, which also stops baby from sliding out the bottom. There is a little toy bar that attaches to the tray, and a detachable mobile that clips to the top of the swing.
To put baby into the swing you simply click the tray upwards at one side and strap him/her in, the click the tray back down.
--- SO DOES IT WORK? ---
On purchasing my Graco swing, I took it home and put it together. The swing is flat packed but is very easy to assemble. I did it by myself!
Max used the swing straight away. When he was first born the head cushion nicely supported his head, and the lowest speed setting was enough to rock him to sleep. This was great, it gave me the time to make bottles or play with Leon.
As max got older, and gained more weight, we increased the speed to let...

Sit... Click... Good Boy!
Review of Fold Hill - Click 'n' Treat by
gingelou
Advantages: Fits in your pocket. Handy for walkies! Great Value for money!
Disadvantages: Jams easily.
...to the field where I can let both dogs off the lead for a little run and get them back on the lead with the use of my click ‘n’ treat. Getting them back on leads used to be a nightmare as one would be running around while the other was getting tangled up, but now they just happily sit and wait for their treats before we make the trip home. I don’t usually need to give more than one treat on the way home, as they know where they are going!
I got this Click ‘n’ Treat in March 2005 and walk my dogs almost every evening, before I had the Click ‘n’ Treat we would get as far as the first corner and Max would be heading home and me and Pendle would have to start all over again, however within about a week Max had really got into the swing of things and now really enjoys his walks knowing he will get rewards for walking. Pendle also gets rewards when Max...

"Which way do you swing ???"
Review of Swing Ball by
Averilla
Advantages: Portable
Disadvantages: Filling the base when you are out and about
...as I possibly can, and pretend it's him !!! So all in all very therapeutic and a real stress buster.
Of course the main advantage of this game is that you cannot lose the ball. Other advantages are that it is portable, everything folds neatly (including the paddles) into the base whereupon the lids clicks neatly into place and can be carried by the sturdy handle. The game is also adjustable for smaller children, simply omit one of the poles. As far as space is concerned, you don't need a lot, the ball with string is about 5ft long so you do need a little clearance, but you really don't need a big garden for this. Once assembled it is sturdy on almost any flat surface. Tough and durable, on the whole not particularly susceptible to wear and tear, although the ball may get worn through use (ours is 2 years old and the ball is rather thin now...

Super Swing
Review of Swing When You're Winning - Robbie Williams by
Alican
Advantages: smooth swing that's easy listening
Disadvantages: I wish there were more tracks!
...class to this piece.
10 - Things
This is song with Jane Horracks and is absolutely great! Their singing styles compliment each other greatly and the harmonies are fantastic. The track features a joky argument at the end.
11 - Ain't that a kick in the Head
Robbie's performance of this led to jazz drummer Harold Jones' comment, 'The kid really gets the swing thing.'
12 - They Cna't Take that away from me
Sung with Rupert Everett, this song is definately one to sing along to! It features several witty comments, listen out for them!
13 - Have you met Miss Jones?
A hugely powerful rendition of the song was the inspiration for the entire album, and it's a good job he recorded it!
14 - Me and My SHadow
Sung with Jonathon Wilkes, this is the one my and my sister sing...

As Lauretta Sits On the Swing Mummy Sings
Review of Fisher Price Deluxe Take Along Swing by
Mickie26
Advantages: it's good for getting your baby to sleep Great if you are going on holiday or a visit to friends or relatives. Cheerful animal characters.
Disadvantages: Don't leave your baby in it for too long it's good for getting your baby your baby to sleep, but once they are asleep take them out as it isn't good for them. It would be good if there was a 3rd toy that was slightly lower for younger babies to reach.
...Who are Fisher Price?
In the early days, employees and neighbours would bring their children in to test toys. Over the years, the process became more formal and Fisher-Price was the first toy manufacturer to establish an on-site play centre in 1961. They were approached in 1973, by Tupolev who licensed the design of an aircraft to Fisher-Price, a toy manufacturer in East Aurora, New York.
Fisher Price has come a long way since those times. I can remember having toys from then when I was a child in the 1970's. I was born in 1976 and started getting my brother's toys who was 2 years older than me. I have still got Fisher Price products from when I was a baby and they still work.
Fisher Price has their own website so this might be a good place to start your search for the Fisher Price swing and also check out their other...

swinging at sea
Review of Fisher Price Deluxe Take Along Swing by
ukmonkey2002
Advantages: keeps baby amused
Disadvantages: hard to get baby and out
...I thought id write a review on this even though there is already 2 reviews which explain this swing quite adequately the reason for this being that the reviews are a bit older and the swing I have must be a newer model .
I bought this swing when my baby was only a few weeks old I paid £70 from mothercare .
When I first put my little girl in this who only weighed 7lbs I felt the swing rocked very fast even on the lower setting but she didn't seem to mind .
You also have to put the baby in and out at an angle as the bar is pretty annoying and when the get older the try to grab and hang on by it .
Now that she is 5 months and a good bit heavier it doesn't seem to rock as fast now.
And now she can grab the toys and activate the music and lights herself .
The rocking has 8 speeds which I don't feel they vary very much...

ELC - Dolphin Swing Seat
Review of ELC - Dolphin Swing Seat by
elvina
Advantages: Nice design
Disadvantages: Tips, bad seat harness and too far off the ground
...For her first birthday my daughter was given by her Grandparents the ELC single swing fram with the Dolphin Swing Seat. Our branch does not have these on display so we could not see what they looked like beforehand but had ordered them from the catalogue as we thought that the Dolphin Swing Seat would particularly appeal to my daughter as she is animal crazy.
When my husband and I started erecting the swing alarm bells rang when we noticed that the swing and seat were made by different companies and the seat had, written on the fitting instructions, that the seat was to be fitted no higher than 18 to 24 inches from the ground. We could not do this because there was insufficient rope. This may have been caused by the seat being faulty and having too short a rope or that the seat and this swing were not meant for use together. Once...
