...This is a pretty good racket. Coming into the hyper carbon era in tennis from graphite this racket has a lot of punch to it, and also has a lot of control to it. The control may not be has good as the original ProStaff graphite racket which was used by former no. 1 Pete Sampras. However comparing this racket to other hyper carbon rackets this racket has good control. The punch in this racket makes it easier to play shots witm more power and little effort, however the draw back with this racket for me has been when trying to attack an approach ball. When you try to put a little more effort in the attack the racket usually ends up giving to much of a punch making the ball out of control.... Read review

This Pub/Restaurant, is found halfway up Gateacre Brow, The Staff provides a friendly environment, with sumptuous food. It was taken over a cuple of years ago, and since then, the restaurant has been converted into an usually styled area, yet the food remains as tasty as ever. Another good thing about The Bear & Staff, is its prices. You can buy a good quality meal with a couple of drinks for a fair price of around £15. This is a bargain considering the quality of the food. The final thing I have to say about this restaurant is the service. Advantages: Soft enough to be good on greens but still goes a good distance. Price.

There seemed to be a shortage of staff - perhaps because it was a Bank Holiday weekend, so this may have been the reason, but with so few customers, I still didn't see why we should have to wait. Once the food and drinks were brought to our table, we had no complaints. There was a waitress on hand to check that we had everything we needed and to bring us the dessert menu when we were ready to order desserts. Food The menu was quite wide-ranging for a provincial pub/restaurant. The food was, on the whole, quite plain - no curries or anything too 'foreign' - but there was certainly enough to keep us occupied for a while when choosing. I chose a Cajun Chicken Salad, which was basically a chicken breast on a nest of salad leaves, tomatos and cucumber, with a tangy sauce and a bread stick. It was a big portion and more than enough... ...Firstly of all i would like to point out that i currently work in Debenhams and therefore i know more about the advantages/disadvantages of having a debenhams card than some people who have written their reviews on the site so far. Also there have been a few changes particularly to the "account cover" side of things over the past few months so it is also worth considering those. Opening your account It is extremely easy to open your Debenhams account, in fact every member of staff who serves you at the till point WILL ask you if you would like to open one (it is a test shop requirment...if we dont ask then the consequences are rather grim when the test shop results come through) the form that takes about 10minutes to complete has now been thrown away and we use a system called E-Apps which is all done over the tillpoint and takes... ...I think i will have to start with the fact that i can never find any staff in the store if i need some assistance. I must admit that i don't use Asda that much, but when i do i can not find what i am looking for and there are hardly any staff on the shop floor to help me. On the odd occasion i have had to go to the customer service desk i have found the staff to be very unhelpful and sometimes quite abrupt. On one particular occasion i had to call into the store one evening as my son was ill and i had run out of nappies. The queues were long and i was in a rush. So i went to customer services to ask if i could pay for my 1 item there, the lady on the desk gave me a look like i was mad and very abruptly said No, i would have to take it to the kiosk, but there was also a long queue there too. I’ve read a lot of opinions where it is the sales staff that is letting a store down, and Comet is no exception. ~ The Plan ~ I wanted a DVD player, no more than £200, and since comet were offering three DVD’s with every DVD player they sell it was obviously the obvious choice. Comet is quite far from where I live, and since I don’t have a car, I looked at Comet’s site on the Internet to see what they had to offer. ...As a student i of course go to subway more than other fast food restaraunts. I used to work Subway from the age of 15 to 17. I was a team leader (supervisor) there meaning i had to open/close the store, supervise staff and order stock. This has given me an even deeper insite into how the place runs and i've got to say im not impressed. Subway prides itself on being healthy when the reality is it's just as unhealthy as many other places. True the food isnt cooked in fat filled grills but its unhealthy enough without that. It may be a bit healtier in theory and im not denying the foods nice i just think every Subway owner needs to control their staff better. ...I worked for currys between 2000-01 as a sales assistant. I worked for the company for over a year but quit because I found the job too pressurised. So I wanted to share my experiences to you the customer. Currys is part of the Dixon group which also includes PC World, Dixon and the Link. All the Curry stores are divided up into areas with their own area manager. This area manager pressurises the store manager to have top sales, because they want to be the best of all areas. In turn each store manager wants their store to be the top of their area and pressurises the staff to get good sales. Products 1) Any product price ending with the sum 97 pence is usually discontinued stock and the sales people are encouraged to get rid of this surplass stock first 2) Always try and ask for discount and ask to speak to the manager...
