Decent hotel in the middle of Stafford

Advantages: Nice rooms, friendly service, good food

...INTRODUCTION Back in the UK again, I had some training courses to attend and so several of us from work got together to go on one in Staffordshire. Having found this hotel on the net, we all booked into it with eager anticipation of a night out before the course the next day. It wasn't to disappoint; amid all the banter, eating and drinking, I managed to keep my head and so present to you my experience of the hotel. LOCATION This is slap bang in the middle of Stafford town centre and so very handily located. It's only a five or ten minute walk from the train station. I ponced a lift and it wasn't hard to find once we got into the town centre and followed the directions. Lee stafford protection mist

...I don't usually buy expensive hair products so I was very happy when I un-wrapped my birthday present off my mam to find a lee stafford poker straight set which included the heat protection spray, dehumidifier spray and dry shampoo. The heat protection spray is in a bright pink bottle which has a spray nozzle on top plus a protection cap to cover it to avoid it being knocked and spraying out. The size of the bottle is 200ml but as you only need a few sprays over your hair it does last a long time. This protection spray can be used on wet hair before drying it or on dry hair before straightening it. Just spray all over hair and comb through to spread it throughout the hair. ...Reading the review before mine, clearly this family had the better-side of the hotel. Do not waste your money on it. I have stayed in a few hotels while travelling, here and abroad. I wanted to take my partner away for his birthday to alton towers (i bought two-day passes) and searched online for a nice hotel to enjoy our weekend away in. I came across the North Stafford Hotel and it appeared to be quite luxurious and smart and within my price budget. We stayed 2nights for £180. On arrival we found the hotel carpark but it was fee-payable, the receptionist explained that did not apply to us but that whenever we wanted to go out we would have to get her to credit our pass for the barrier to go up (?). What a hassle! We were not told of any elevators (which we saw only once we'd reached the top floor) and had to lug our bags up 4 flights...

Lee Stafford - Poker Straight Protection Spray

Advantages: wonderful smell, protects against UV heat and hair straighteners, reasonable price

...SO is there really much you can write about a heat protection spray? Answer - no. I will, however, endeavor to do so. Right first of all, the Lee Stafford Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Spray (to give its full name) is actually very very good. It's probably the fourth brand i've tried and it's definitely one i'll stick with! Visually appealing in a sleak, not too big, pink coloured bottle it's packaged really well. Definately eye-catching amongst all the hair products. It has a really nice, quite light fragrence which is sure to cover up other unappealing smells. Before the smoking ban, the morning after the night before would always be dominated by the disgusting smokey smell, but a few sprays of this product and that would disapear. Lee Stafford Messed Up Light Wax Spray

Advantages: Easy to use, light, great for both curly and straight hair
Disadvantages: Bit expensive, doesn't last overly long on straight hair

...I heard about this product whilst searching for an alternative to the discontinued John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves. A statement on the John Frieda website said that they had brought out a new product to replace it (why they couldn't just start manufacturing it again is beyond me!), which was a spray wax. Having searched around on the Boots website, I've found that this isn't available in the UK, but a search for spray wax turned up the Lee Stafford product. I have to admit that I've always been tempted to try his products (mainly due to the funky packaging, shallow I know) but as they are quite pricey, couldn't justify when I could get similar products cheaper. However, as this was the only spray wax I could find, I thought I'd give it a try. I bought it from the Boots, for £4.49 which I think is the average retail price...
