Review of Dylon Stain Remover by
Ankes-un-amun
Advantages: Removes most stains effectively
Disadvantages: Non that I know of
...I guess I'm a bit odd when it comes to clothes. They can be full of holes, but I can't stand having stains on them. I like my whites to be brilliant white and my family wear a lot of white and pale colours. My partner frequently gets oil on his clothes and my daughter, who is 14 months old, gets anything and everything on her clothes. That is why for me, Dylon Fabric Care stain removers are essential items. I have tried other stain removers such as Stain Devils, Ace Bleach and Vanish, but haven't had much success with them.
There are three different stain removers available from Dylon. One is for dry clean fabrics and the other two are for washable fabrics. I only use the ones for washable fabrics, so those are the ones I'll concentrate on. I do however know that the dry clean one is for stains such as oils, make-up, shoe polish, wax...

Stain Removal Made Easy
Review of Dylon Stain Remover by
purebitch
Advantages: Easy to use. Cheap. Effective.
Disadvantages: Not available in all shops.
...My boyfriend is a postman and on quite a few occasions he has little accidents! The most recent one ended with blood on his shirt. He trapped his finger in a letterbox and took a chunk of skin off. It wouldn’t stop bleeding and so doing the typical man thing; he wiped it all over his shirt!
He then sent me off into town to find a stain-removing product, as my normal washing powder faded it, but never removed it!
I headed off to my local Wilkinson’s store and that is were I found this product. It was cheap and one of the stains it can remove that was listed was blood!

There’s one thing I hate to do, one thing that gives me nightmares just thinking about it…HOUSEWORK. That endless task that always needs repeating day in and day out, Polishing, cleaning hovering and tidying up what for so out rug rats can come home and mess it all up again. I am always on the look out for things to make cleaning the house easier.
This product at the time was new

lemon for stain removal
Review of Member Advice on Stain Removal by
gemmaborder13
Advantages: cheap, smells nice, very effective
Disadvantages: none that i know of
...To all you guys and gals out there who think a lemon is just for slicing and putting in your drink, think again. A lemon has many uses:-
1. add to your drinks
2. removing tea stains from cups
3. removing stubborn marks from enamel surfaces (baths, sinks, toilets)
4. removes the smell of fish from many surfaces (chopping boards, skin, utensils)
To remove tea stains from cups simply use a slice of lemon and scrub your cup. This should work instantly, but for all those stubborn stains out there you may need to scrub a little harder.
the same principles work on enamel surfaces, though be warned, lemon is not an anti-bacterial agent.
Do you like fish a lot? Dont like the smell lingering in your kitchen. Simply slice a lemon and rub onto anything thast has touched the fish. this will get rid of (not cover up...
