Advantages: Great looking fast boiler & reasonable cost

...Every 24 to 30 months I have to replace my kettle, why I know not but they only seem to last a month longer than the warranty! With this in mind one of my priorities is that I dont over spend knowing it will be replaced within 2 years or so. Had to be brushed stainless steel to fit my decor & it makes it easier to keep looking new as opposed to shiny S/Steel! Efficient in boiling & easy to refill & clean as I have teenagers who are reluctant to do any of these! Also a safety feature to prevent boiling dry a common mis-use by said teens. ...After spending a considerable amount of money on a new kitchen (£15K) we purchased this sink thinking it would be a good investment, £400, and within a week the stainless steel scratched terribly. We consider the quality of this sink to be poor, and dont believe it should scratch so quickly. We wrote to Franke, who wrote back saying they couldnt even consider any complaint unless we filled in a complaint form, which would not necessarily get us any further. ...About 8 months ago we had a fire in our garden shed, we had been burning garden rubbish and thought that we had been very careful in dousing the fire. We were wrong and the fire completely detroyed our garden shed,and all the tools that were in it,30 years of collecting old tools,things that you cant buy to-day. We were devastated at our loss,but something good did come out of it,we decided to buy stainless steel tools, and a rake was part of our important buys. I cant tell you what a great difference it has made to us, it is lighter to use,not so heavy on the wrists,the work seems to be lighter,it can be used for heavy work or light,I have a lot of clearing to do on a small allotment and the stainless steel rake is a must. provided you clean the stainless steel when you have finished the garden work your steel tools should last... ...I have had the Maytag for nearly two years now. I bought it to match with new appliances in my refitted kitchen. The machine holds a lot, more than our previous model. It was so quiet that when we first used it we didn't think it was working! It is easy to use, with lots of programmes. It has a low salt and low rinse aid indicator. It has an economy programme as well as all the usual programmes that you would expect for a top of the range dishwasher. About a year ago it suddenly started tripping the electric off and we needed to get an engineer. I bought the machine on line and I looked up Maytag and phoned them, they then arranged for a firm of engineers to send someone round. ...I love this Dishwasher and really dont know how we lived without before. It is so easy to use, the instructions are very easy and the maual is set out in such a way that anybody who is not well up on things like this can feel quite confident about using the dishwasher properly and to it's full potential. There are not loads of different buttons and selection to confuse you, but enough to get the job done! It is quiet and looks really nice in our kitchen, very modern and trendy looking. I have alot of faith in this make as we have other appliance in Beko, we have never had any problems. If you need a dishwasher and this one is the correct size and colour, then i highly recommend it. ...When my Hotpoint dishwasher gave up the ghost, I decided to go for the 'best' I could afford! After loads of research, the Smeg came out tops. At the time of buying I got a really good price from the electricshop online and also an extra 5 years guarantee from Smeg. It is super quiet, has nine different wash settings with half load, top or bottom shelf. Holds up to 14 place settings and both the top and bottom baskets are adjustable. You can also put the cutlery basket on the top or bottom or even use the special holes on the top basket! The digital display gives you the time length for the wash programme you have chosen. If you use 3 in 1 tablets, press the button and the wash adjusts itself to these. Compared to the Hotpoint, the Smeg cleans superbly, even baking dishes with dried on food have come out sparkling. I bought it at the time basing my decision on energy efficiency, as well as wanting an appliance that was stainless steel to fit in with the rest of my kitchen appliances. There was a limited choice at the time for stainless steel dishwashers with great energy efficiency ratings, this smeg dishwasher seemed the most practical option. It has 'A Ratings' for drying, washing and Energy which is exactly what I had wanted. I was also pleased with the way this smeg dishwasher handles a full wash so quietly.
