...For less than £30 the Dirt Devil hand held mains vacuum cleaner and Tools comes in very useful. When there are stairs to be cleaned then you could do worse than to buy this little machine. A handy little vacuum cleaner that even a small child can use to clean up after themselves. I bought this to help with the cleaning of stairs, it has been an excellent investment. To clean the stairs this can be plugged in at the bottom and then reach the top and even clean the landing. The tools come in very useful when there is an awkward corner. My stairs have never looked as clean before and it is a lot easier than using a standard vacuum cleaner and balancing it on the stairs. The children, with this easily clean up small spills in the house as it is not to big and easy for them to direct. If the car needs a valet this is the tool to use... Read review

...I have two young children and this dyson is fantastic on cleaning up the mess that they create. Its very easy to use and to move accross the floor and light to carry up and down the stairs. The attachments cover every eventuality and are very good at getting into every nook and crany. It is very easy to empty and it doesnt take to much room when you need to stoe it. The suction is very strong sometimes making it hard to move but as long as you keep it moving you wont suck the caret up. The hose is a very good length so when you need to clean the stairs you can leave the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs and carry on cleaning till the top without having to balance the vacuum half way up the stairs. I would highly recommend this vacuum for a very busy hosehold.... Read review

...A good place to stay for students. It was very cheap, the staff were friendly and there was a nice cat. However, there were lots of stairs to climb and not great security for belongings. It was great for meeting people and there was a TV room with kitchen for socialising and cooking. I met a lot of people there when I went down to the lounge. Most people were travellers and everyone was friendly. I was able to cook for myself and store food and drink there. However, I was ill when i arrived and I had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my room. As all my belongings were kept down stairs, this meant a lot of physical exercise which I really didn't need. The hostel was in a great location.... Read review

...I have a niece that’s nearly two years old which is an age that you have to be very security conscious. If you don’t take extra measures on stairs etc they can really hurt themselves. It was only until a little baby girl fell down the stairs and hurt herself that my sister went shopping for extra security around the house. The first thing she bought was a Lindem Two way safety gate which will prevent any accidents on the stairs. My niece loves going up the stairs but she can easily fall down if she loses her balance. Although, my sister takes great care to make sure she is never left unsupervised. When doors are left open she has found herself on the stairs-which is extremely dangerous. The Two way safety gate is a great safety precautions. It is easy to install, one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top... Read review

...For those of you who already have little children in the house, you will agree that safety in the home is paramount. Even if you have eyes in the back of your head, in your arms and legs and in every single room in the house, your child will still manage to wonder off undetected. It's great when they start to move, at first they progress slowly but it's only a matter of days before then can go from 0 -100 in the blink of an eye. So when our little one began to move we needed to start looking at stair gates, before he dive bombed down the stairs. At this point to me a stair gate was a stair gate, a gate that you fix across your stairs or to the entrance of a room to prevent children having accidents, or escaping from rooms. ...As all parents know that when your little one can start to crawl, they can go from snail speed to racing speed in no time at all, so it then comes to the time of thinking about fixing those stair gates to the stairs because the last thing you want is your precious little one hurting themselves on the stairs. (Take it from me, my little one followed my cats down the stairs, top to bottom!!! thankfully he was ok, just abit tearfull) So that was it, my husband, child and myself into the car, and to mothercare we went..... we looked at a number of gates, and although safety was the utmost importance I was still not really prepared to spend £60.00 on a gate, as some of the gates were priced at. ...OK, before the platitudes start, one word of warning. This album is LOUD! Like, eardrum-burstingly loud. Britney Spears fans need not apply. Right, that's that over with. Let's not beat about the bush here (it's not like ATR ever would.) Sixty Second Wipeout is a colossus amongst records. Building on the sound of their previous recordings, 'ver Riot', on this album, sound not so much like 'a flight of stairs falling down a flight of stairs' as Alec et al systematically detonating every flight of stairs in the world. (I'll start making sense now) 13 tracks and 40-45 minutes long, the album starts with a definite statement of intent in single 'Revolution Action'. This segues seamlessly into 'By Any Means Necessary' and those weak of disposition may be needing new eardrums... The political content is still high, in fact... Read review

...I bought this hoover nearly two months ago and I think it's fab! The suction on it is amazing and the different levels on the brush bar for different piles of carpet is fab, don't think I've ever seen my rugs looking so clean since they were new. The attachements are pretty much what you'd expect to get with a new hoover and the longer hose definitely makes life easier, especialy when cleaning the stairs, I no longer have to lug the hoover up the stairs and prop it up as I clean, the hoover now stays at the bottom while I work away vacuuming each step. If you have pets I would say that this hoover is what you've been looking for, so long as you can move it. The weight of the hoover is the only major disadvantage I've found so far, I'm no weakling but it is heavy, not so bad once you get going with the hoovering but there is no way I can... Read review

...This is a brillinat film, in fact I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought it. The film starts of with a cute little boy wanting to earn money in whatever way he can in order to get his sick mother hospital treatment. His cousin lets him in on a 'job' they are going to on a house. The house is the property of not only a very rich family but also weird to the point of perverse. It is at this point that the film really gets going. i would rate the scare factor as average but the storyline is good throughout. Needless to say that there are people under the stairs but as to who they are and why they are there I will not say as it would spoil your enjoyment of the film. This is definitely one to watch.... ...Very poorly managed tenement in a crack cocaine infested area. The only good thing is the view of the river, but the river contains high levels of E.coli bacteria, so look but don't touch. Harrisburg has nothing to offer, but if you must go there avoid staying at the Korman Communities property. Staying there will only worsen your experience. The elevator was broken, so we had to walk up and down 13 flights of stairs for 3 days. Management refused to offer any discounts for this inconvenience. The staff was very rude, and did not seem to understand that it was not right to have to climb all of those stairs and still have to pay full price. They also gave us a a improperly cleaned room. This place was so bad that we wound up checking out a week early and staying at a budget motel for the rest of our trip.... Read review
