The Scottish education system is quite bit different to others in the UK. It is basically the GCSE of Scotland. It is studied by 3rd and 4th years at High School with the ages from 14-16. They are usually 2 year course but I have seen them being condensed into one year course, then allowing an extra year for Higher (AS Level.) I grew them for show as well as pleasure and you could find a fuschia in every nook and cranny of my garden and greenhouse. Since my wife became housebound i just grow a few for pleasure because i have not enough time to justify their beauty. Growing a standard fuschia is an easy task for any gardener with a greenhouse or conservatory. For your first time attempt i would suggest `snowcap`. This is a semi double size flower with red petals and white sepals, or, perhaps `display` which is a single flower almost entirely pink. You can grow a quarter standard in one season but really they are better grown during the first season to flower the second. I have only seen one injury when the horse was left in the stable (not mine) for a very short length of time. The horse managed to catch the headcollar on something on the stable door resulting in a visit from the vet and stitches in the face of the horse. Advantages: Good coverage of London. Financial information.
Disadvantages: Bland. Lack of coverage of international affairs

...The Evening Standard is the only major tabloid evening newspaper for London,which is rather surprising for a world class city the size of London. Currently it sells at 35 pence and is reasonable value for money. It is has quite good coverage of London including restaurant reviews and coverage of the Premier and Nationwide Soccer league teams in the capital. The Evening Standard also provides financial information including stocks and shares. The paper also has sections on jobs,holidays and entertainment. It is a bit thin on coverage of international affairs,it is really more oriented to London and the UK,rather than the world at large. I do not regard this paper as a good buy if you are looking for penetrating,investigative,type journalism but it is OK as regardsd news about London.It is a popular newspaper among evening commuters...

Evening Standard or Daily Mail

Advantages: Reasonable news coverage
Disadvantages: Far too much superficial nonsense

This means that not only is the Evening Standard reader now barraged with endless "celebrity" tittle tattle and diet plans, but that any attempt at reflecting the views of Londoners is out of the window. Advantages: Very versatile, excellent quality

...I recieved this bass around 6 months ago, and for the price i am really impressed with the standard. I paid £220 (brand new condition with protective plastic and tags still intact) which to me is a bargain compared to the £440 retail price! Starting off with the sound, this bass is very versatile. When (if) you get this bass make sure you sit down and have a play with the control knobs as you will see the number of different sounds you can get out of it. I play hardcore, screamo, blues, rock, classic rock, metal, and this bass manages to create great sounds for all these styles. The quality of the bass is also very high standard. A great finish with no blemishes really makes it look great on stage. The action was a bit low and there was some fret buzz on the higher frets, but this is quite common on new guitars so a set up at your local...

Fender standard telecaster

Advantages: easy to play!
Disadvantages: none!

...I purchased this online after trying it out at my local guitar shop, and I was very surprised at the standard of the guitar for the low price a paid (£280 new). Themaple neck makes it sooo easy to play, much better than rosewood, and this gitar is VERY light, allowing me to throw it around and jump about without struggling with the weight unlike many other guitars. It also stays in tune no matter how hard you play it which was also a big plus for me. The only bad point(s) I'd have to put in is that firstly it is a little short of frets (21), and preferably I would've liked to have a 22 fret guitar but hey you can't have it all. The factory set up was also a bit bad, but only needed to change the action as there was a lot of fret buzz.
