...I brought this toy for my son last Christmas and he loves playing with it, it makes a great toy for babies of 6 months and up. It costs in between £12.99 - £15.99. It has a switch with three settings talking, music and a turn off setting, it also has a volume control which can be turned to low or high. In the talking setting if it’s rolled around it says phrases or you can press each button and it will say a phrase. When rolling around or the buttons are press little shaped stars light up. Here are all it’s phrases Bunny, Teddy Bear, Kitten, Puppy, Bye Bye, Hello Baby and after each animal phrase is said it is then followed by the sounds of the animals. ...As you can probably tell by my previous reviews that I am a Clinique fan! Everyday I use their liquid foundation finishing off with a dusting of loose translucent powder! Now despite the Clinique powder being so fantastic I have discovered that this is not suitable for transporting in ones handbag! Much too big and also rather messy if it was to open. Then I had a brainwave (bit unusual for me that one!) - why don’t I buy a pressed powder compact for touching up my shiny patches in the afternoons! Call me tight or a skinflint if you want ( I am Scottish!!), but there was no way that I was forking out another £17 for a Clinique powder albeit a pressed compact one. So whilst in Superdrug one day I had a browse at the make up. My goodness what a selection they had. There were six or seven sections of well known brands... Read review

...with you I would not of bought it on DVD neither. It was my brother Steve who bought the film for me as a birthday present so I thought o.k I'll give it try. The packaging of the film was well presented as all the Star Wars films are. it had a teenage Anakin Skywalker on the front welding a Lightsaber which drawed me in. I unwrapped the DVD case opened up the box and took out DVD 1 (it is a 2 box set) and placed it in my DVD player. The DVD started and the menu feature is really good with the Star Wars anthuim playing in the background then the Star Wars logo appearing. After this I turned off the lights, switched on my surround sound speakers and sat back and pressed play on my remote. .... Then once you have the room as dark as possible you simply place the cassette in and press play whilst turning on the machine. The room is suddenly illuminated just like the night sky with hundreds of stars spread all over the room and commentary explaining where all the different constellations are and the names of hundreds of the brightest stars in the sky. You can also set up comet's and shooting stars to appear in the sky making it an amazing show and has the youngest sitting still and quiet in absolute amazement. The display in the room is a full 360 degrees and is very clear and realistic more so than I could have imagined I was very impressed. As well as the current stars and sky line it also changes and predicts movement and changes in the stars in the future, how it does this I have no idea but it is a great piece of equipment... ...reviewers say this game is like Halo, Metroid Prime, and Rainbow Six combined. I say its a linear version of Metroid Prime with simple squad commands and a lot more shooting and a shield bar and health set in the Star Wars universe. The controls are standard FPS console shooter controls, left stick to move around and right stick to look around, r-trigger shoot, l-trigger throw grenade, etc. The only thing different is the a-button. the d-pad like in Metroid Prime changes the weapon. Pressing and holding the a-button with a combination of a d-pad direction allows you to issure commands to your squad. Up is clear the area your looking at, left is search and destroy, down is fall back, right is form up. ...After a number of star-wars games hitting the shelf over the past few years..i have to say i washed my hands of the franchise, it seemed as though Lucasarts (the creaters) where focusing too much on the quantity rather than qualilty, and i hated the fact that the love the Star-wars games would be erased so easily due to the greed of such marketing companies...what happened to the fun, i mean why else are we spending £30+ on games just be ripped off by pointless gaming. ...I can’t remember why, where or even exactly when I bought this. I am up to neck – up to my eyes even - in eye shadow. Maybe I just thought it would be fun to buy some more, so, this time it was Rimmel Metallic Stars Roller Shadow. I like the idea of bright eyes, but it’s not the brightest idea. (“Not a bright eye, dear.” Oh, never mind!) The product is presented in a clear, cylindrical vial with a flush, cylindrical, screw-on silver-coloured top. It’s just over 8cm long and 1.5cm diameter and is surprisingly light. The bottle is actually plastic but looks like glass; the whole thing is rather elegant. You’d feel quite happy carrying it around in your bag and the roller mechanism guarantees it won’t spill, unless the bottle got crushed. ...I remember my father coming home from work each evening and beginning the ritual of “changing out of his suit”. This was the 1950s and memories of clothes rationing were still strong, so clothes, any clothes, were looked after and made to last. I think this is why I’ve always been unable to dispose of any clothes until they actually fall off my back! My father’s suit would be removed, brushed and checked for any marks or necessary repairs and the jacket would be hung up to air. The trousers would be carefully straightened and laid between the mattress and the bed base to be ‘pressed’ overnight. The system worked well and cost nothing, but had its drawbacks, not least of which was the certainty of a row if there was someone in the bed at the time.
