The wheels turn easily and smoothly. It used to be that some 4-wheel buggies were hard to navigate but this one has no trouble turning a corner. Just to give you an idea I was in town today with my usual Starbucks in one hand and piloting the buggy with the other. I purchased my Graco travel system from Babies R Us for £260 and there was a promotion to get the £100 accessories pack free. There are various Quattro Tour systems and at very different prices. Eating à la carte, you'll find the cheapest starter is ?53, with mains in the region of ?80 and desserts costing ?26. Well, we can all dream... Having never eaten at either of these restaurants, I cannot comment on them in any way, shape or form. I would imagine (and hope) that the hefty price tag at Jules Verne would ensure only the best service. The restaurant has its own private entrance and lift at the foot of the tower and with this restaurant having earned a Michelin star, I'm guessing it's haute cuisine all the way. Bon appétit. As for 58 ? I think the lunch time menu is acceptable ? you could expect to pay those prices elsewhere in Paris, and at least here you know that the surroundings and views would make your dining experience...

Grand Tour of LA!

Advantages: get to see lots in short space of time
Disadvantages: don't get much time in each place

...we got back onto the bus to resume our tour. Rodeo Drive was out next destination however we didn't get off so we had to get the feel for it while driving though heavy traffic. It was annoying as you were trying to soak in everything in a short space of time with buses and cars blocking your view at times. This is the area the stars go shopping and has all the expensive shops like Gucci and Giorgio Armani. So you were constantly straining your neck to see if you could see someone famous, well I know I was anyways! Near to here was Hollywood's walk of fame where we got off and was able to explore and look about. The walk of fame is basically a street with those famous stars on the pavement. The story was interesting because firstly it centred on the lives of three very different contrasting characters that, only shared a wonderful talent. It was fascinating to see what happened to them as the novel went chronologically through all the highs and lows of their lives, all the main developments that went to make them all Rock Stars. Yes in some ways it was shallow, the way these fortunate people enjoyed such a lavish lifestyle. Full of beautiful young men and women who?s only leisure time pursuit seemed to be having sex. ..."Stars" by Simply Red is quite simply one of the best albums in UK history. When "Something Got Me Started" was released in 1991, nobody could have guessed that the forthcoming album "Stars" was going to be so huge. It almost feels like a greatest hits collection in itself - even the album tracks seem to be played endlessly in shops - and it's hard to remember a time before it was released in some ways. Mick Hucknall went for an image change - check out the long hair on the front cover - and the album had a very poppy feel that grabbed the attention of non-fans and reaffirmed the devotion of Simply Red's more zealous followers. It's probably the last time Mick's work had a "band" feel to it and it's all the better for it. It was the biggest album between 1992 and 1993 and deservedly so. Was 'satisfaction guaranteed' on this Magical Mystery Tour?

Advantages: A brief insight into the home city of the Fab Four
Disadvantages: A little rushed; it wasn't as interesting or as inviting as I was hoping it would be

...good condition, so it must have been recently painted in the blues and yellows of the original Magical Mystery Tour bus, with rainbows and stars on the side panels. However, once you get on board, the bus did lose a bit of that sparkle. It reminded me of a bus I once rode to school on, so instantly, there are some negative connotations there (who said school was the best days of a person?s life?). Some of the chairs had seen better days which would naturally be a product of general wear and tear but it still made the whole set up look a bit cheap before the guy had even opened his mouth to talk. To me, one of the biggest faults of the tour was that it lacked a real kind of fun attitude about it; the Magical Mystery Tour movie itself ? if viewed in the right way ? is an hour of comedy gold.
