...The simultaneous release of Star Wars Episode I on videotape and Star Wars Episode I:Racer for the Dreamcast was no coincidence; with Episode I merchandising for toys and other items fizzling and with Episode II still a ways off, LucasFilm and LucasArts were looking to give Episode I a much-needed shot in the arm. Advantages: Star Wars! Makes you want to be a Jedi!
Disadvantages: Its the last of the epic story.

...This another outstanding memorable espiode of Star Wars with a great finale and ending which sadly is the end to the epic storyline that is Star Wars. Special effects are great, there are once again some magical moments that will be told time and time again throughout time, from grandfather to grandchild. Luke Skywalker finally finds out about his father and defeats him (well brings him around to the good side) and also defeats the emperor once and for all. The rebel alliance defeat the Death Star for the second time and Hans Solo and the princess finally get it together. The ewoks are a great addition to the Star Wars cast and again we see glimpses of the mystical Yoda. The whole Star Wars trilogy must be in your collection. I demand it!... Read review

Advantages: First ever 'new' Star Wars Book
Disadvantages: May only apeal to Sci Fi fans

...In 1991 Star Wars returned with a vengeance. Timothy Zahn, brought back the great characters of George Lucas' Star Wars Trilogy. The book brings the New Republic now fromed on the former Imperial world of Coruscant, back against a new Imperial leader, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn, a tactical genius has found Jedi clone Joruus C'boath. Using the Emporer's cloning chamber Thrawn is trying to take control of Coruscant and wipe out the republic. The first chapter also brings a new nuetral into the fray. The smuggler's alliance have accepted the Republic control and work for the Republic for money. The book was the first of many Star Wars novels by Zahn and is a classic. At only £5 it's a great buy for all Sci Fi readers and Star Wars fans alike. I have read many Star Wars and Sci Fi books and this one sticks out among all of them.... Read review

...Star wars unleashed battle figures are very collectable and they come in a variety of packs and prices. For instance there is the Star Wars: Unleashed Battlepack - Episode IV Rebel Blockade Troopers, which onsists of four blockade troupers or Star Wars: Unleashed Battlepack - Episode IV Commanders, which consists of Princess Leia, Lord Darth Vader, Rebel Commander and Grand Moff Tarkin. Or maybe you would like Star Wars Unleashed Battle Pack ''Battle of Hoth'' Rebel Alliance Troopers or Star Wars Unleashed Battle Pack ''Battle of Hoth'' Imperial Snowtroopers. Then there is Star Wars Unleashed Order 66 Shock Trooper Battalion and Star Wars Unleashed Order 66 A New Empire. You see what I mean? Advantages: Great gameplay! Excellent set of weapons
Disadvantages: Can get repetitive

...Star Wars: Battlefront (SWB) This game is, on the whole a really good game with good two player action and a vast array of maps and weapons. However there are a number of disadvantages to this game. (SWB) Does get very repetitive and tedious quickly as the gameplay doesn't vary from stage to stage. And although the vehicles provide a nice edge they get boring very quickly, but through all the downfalls (SWB) proves to be a very impressive game, one to which any fans of star wars would enjoy! There are many different types gameplay, for instance, there is the HISTORICAL CAMPAIGN which sticks to the film basis very well as you travel through the galaxy and fight on the many different battlegrounds like Hoth, Endor, Tatooine and Naboo. ...Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Never have I been more thoroughly dissapointed in all my life. I am an avid Star Wars fan but this episode just made me disillusioned with the whole thing. From the unconvincing performances of Darth Maul and Anakin Skywalker to the absolutley ridiculous and deliberatley annoying frog man with the big tongue (I even forgot his name I care so much), the Phantom Menace was a huge dissapointment. There were just so many flaws and inconsistencies it was unbelievable. Ofcourse the special effects were wonderful. The pod racing scenes were partciularly thrilling but special effects is not what Star Wars is all about. If it was jsut FX, then it would be classified as another Deep Impact, Armageddon or Mission Impossible. Star Wars was meant to have a story line, a deeper meaning and a soul. George Lucas managed... ...Star wars episode 1: racer is fun as long as you don’t really want much out of the game. It is very quick and has good graphics at times at is reminiscent of the pod racer scene with Anakin in a 600 mile per hour race. For the hardcore fans it is good because basically it is star wars that is filled with very fast energetic action with a few different tracks. All this is added to with the good game play and the good handling and they superb quality of the vehicles.... Read review

...The phantom menace is a great film with great new ideas for the stars wars series. I is much better then the oter ones making it a must to see when you get the oportunity. merchandise which is based on this movie isn't actually very good but if you want as much star wars as possible you might aswell get some of it anyway. The only pieces of merchandise I would recomend is the lego and the computer game for the PC. The lego has cool stuff to build like destroyer droyed and the game has great game play.... Read review

...One of the greatest books I have ever read, Starwars, of course, and introduces three more excellent characters. The best of these three is of course Grand Admrial Thrawn. Grand Admrial Thrawn is a great character with a great stratigic mind, one of the best characters ever created in the Star Wars universe, and features in many Star Wars games on the PC. The book really is a joy to read, and makes reading the next book in the trilogy compulsary. It is pretty expensive at £5.99, but its a think book, and is worth every single penny. Be sure to read it and make sure you read every other book in the trilogy as well.... Read review
