Starbucks - an absolute must on cold, wintery days.

Advantages: Comfy, excellent service, fantastic choice of drinks and snacks. seasonal drinks are amazing.
Disadvantages: can be crowded and busy if you go at the wrong time, e.g. saturday afternoons!

Philips Senseo Coffee Maker - a coffee lovers heaven

Advantages: Perfect coffee at the press of a button
Disadvantages: Pods can be hard to find at times

...I am a complete coffee addict, I admit it. I can't function until I have had my caffine fix of the day. I drink my coffee stong,black and unweetened - because of this I like good coffee and it is one product that I will not economise on. Over my married life ( 38 years of it) I have had all sorts of coffee machines in my quest for a good cup of coffee, not just one that smells good when you walk in the kitchen but also tastes as good as it smells. Senseo Coffee Maker

...My husband bought me the Senseo coffee maker for a Christmas present 2006, I must say it was one of the best things he has ever bought me.I love my coffee and have used it most days and more than once a day since. It is still going strong! The Senseo doesn't have all the fancy bits to it that other coffee machines do, but it makes a nice cup of coffee and is very easy to use. The coffee comes out hot, but not boiling (my mum was never impressed with it when she came over as she likes her coffees scolding). I have occasionally had trouble with leaks, but not very often. All in all, I like it. Its a good price and makes nice coffee, itt is also easy to clean, which is another bonus for me. Starbucks Coffee

Advantages: Good place if you just want to stop and rest whilst out shopping.
Disadvantages: Too expensive for what it is.

...I'm not a huge fan of coffee but when I need somewhere to chill out, Starbucks is the place. It's inviting ambience makes up for its phenomenal prices - a tall Camomille Tea set me back £2.50!! I would like to say that it was worth it but I had tasted better. Finding somewhere to sit is also a bit of a mission, as people literally queue for standard chairs, nevermind the sofa! Still, if your just looking for somewhere to take a brief respite it's not a bad place. It has a wide range of beverages, from coffee (both traditional and international flavours), to tea (again, both traditional and herbal/spiced teas) to cold and iced beverages, such as Iced Chocomocha. It's a nice place to rest, but a bit pricey for my liking. Oh, and they have a good selection of desserts, but again a bit on the pricey side....

On average two a year I should think. For one reason or another they have all ended in the bin rapidly or of course been taken back. Advantages: high quality, reliable, easy to use, easy to keep it clean
Disadvantages: makes two coffees at a time

...I love good coffee. I don't drink any kind of coffee just to get my daily caffeine dose. A good coffee can be made of good raw material which for me is 100% arabica coffee beans (I prefer freshly ground coffee) and the other important factor is the coffee maker. I don't like coffee makers that work with filter. Coffee is not a kind of tee, it needs special machine. At Saeco engineers know how a good coffee is. I have this kind of coffee maker at my work place (ours at home is very similar, but other brand for financial reasons). I use it to prepare coffee for my bosses and their guests. I receive so many compliments for my coffee, you can't imagine. I could make a decision on what coffee maker to buy. I didn't hesitated much as I heard a lot about Saeco's premium coffee makers. So I choose Saeco Vienna. I won't waste your time...
