Everything that starts with..S Smoked Salmon.

Advantages: You should eat one portion of oily fish each week.
Disadvantages: None.

...it last though the year, its main benefit I supose was that you didnt need to much salt (a valuable commodity) to help cure it, and that the fish is ready to eatand doesn't need rinsing in fresh water(as with salt fish) or cooking. But these days, smoking is used more to flavour fish, after all, most of us have a fridge! Sorcing the fish... This is very important, because like most things, you only get out what you put in! So, if you start with a good product the chances are that you will end up with a good one to. S for satchmo

Advantages: Mans love for his animals

...Up until August I had the most wondeful little dog called satchmo. He was a Hungarian Puli, he was the younger brother of my other dog Jake. This little dog had so much personality and was just a bundle of love. He bounced everywhere and barked at everybody . When I was out walking with him It was like having your own bodyguard nobody would have dared to come near me. I loved this little dog to bits and I cannot even start to tell you the love he gave back to me. There was nowhere I could go in the house without him behind me. As the years went on I dreaded the time when I knew I might loose them. Firstly my darling jake died aged 13 in June 2002. This was so hard to take but my little satchmo just cuddled closer to me and seemed to give me even more love, I could never have coped without him, then disaster struck 2 months later...
