Boots Stay Perfect Lipstick

Advantages: Good range of colours
Disadvantages: Not long lasting as promised

...I am a real fan of Boots No7 make-up range and was recently given a voucher for £5.00 off any product in the No7 range so off I trotted to Boots to spend my voucher. I opted for a No7 Stay Perfect Lipstick as I already have far too much make-up as it is and this is the only product I would make use of. ~The Product~ I chose the stay perfect lipstick as it looked like a good quality lipstick and I had heard good reviews about it in the past. Their choice of colours was pretty extensive and each colour was wearable in my opinion and natural looking too. I opted for the 'Nude' colour in the range as I wanted a barely there lipstick. Stay Perfect With This Foundation

Boots No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow (Innocence)

Advantages: Nice texture, colour comes out well
Disadvantages: Expensive, small, difficult to use brush

...still think it could do with being a little bit bigger as it is quite fiddly, and for £7 I would expect a bit more. My Experience I used the eyeshadow the following day when I was getting ready for work. I was really pleased with the texture of it, it does feel good quality. It is smooth and silky feeling and it spread over my eyelids really well. The colour came out as a expected, a nice cream colour but didn't look too white, which for me was perfect. I also found I didn't need to use loads and keep piling it on. My eyes are often irritated first thing in the morning and putting make-up on can make this worse, but the eyeshadow didn't have any negative effects at all. I could tell it didn't contain anything too harsh. The only disappointment was the brush which was really difficult to use because of its size and shape. It...

Stay Perfect Eyeliner that really does!

Advantages: Nice brush and lovely colour
Disadvantages: A bit expensive and takes quite a while to dry

...No7 Stay Perfect Eyeliner. Well truthfully, it does stay perfect as long as you wait for it to dry, if you don't you will end up with a strip of colour underneath your eyebrow. Which believe you me is not the most flattering thing ever. The eyeliner is available in 5 colours and I have 3. I own the silver, bronze and turquoise. The other colours are goldy white and bright blue. It comes in a small cylinder only approx. 1cm in diameter. My version of the turquoise was a freebie so is half the size of the normal cylinder. The normal container comes with 24M worth of eyeliner in it. The liquid is applied with a small thin brush. It goes on in a nice even layer, though if you do not wait for it to dry slightly it will reprint itself onto your upper eyelid in a nice line. When choosing a brand of lipstick I want the longest lasting one I can get, that doesn't leave my lips dry. Some brands do neither of my aims well, some met one or the other requirement, and rarely I find one that has a good attempt of doing both. In this last category is Boots No 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick. The colour in this lipstick does contain moisturisers, unlike the longest lasting lip colours, which I would describe as lip inks. ...I think that the term `less is more` is one that applies to the majority of skin foundation creams. I agree that it looks very eye catching if you see a woman who is beautifully made up but on the other hand I hate to see the `mask` effect that can come from overdoing it on the skin foundation cream. Younger skin can adapt to a slightly heavier foundation cream but as skin starts to age it definitely needs a light cream that also needs applying with a light hand. The Boots No 7 Stay Perfect foundation has a middle of the range price tag, you can get far cheaper foundation creams and if you are feeling flush then there are a lot that cost a pretty penny more than the Boots No 7 foundation cream. At the moment Boots have the Stay Perfect foundation cream on sale at £15 for a 30 ml bottle and that a purchase will also earn you 60...

You can't fault the staying power of Stay Perfect . . .

Advantages: elegant packaging, nice mix of classic and fashion shades
Disadvantages: might need a good remover - or patience - to take it off

...and the matching lid (in opaque black plastic then spreads outwards a little towards the top so that the overall look makes it appear that the nail varnish almost has an "hourglass" figure. I don't know if this is deliberate on the part of Boots - and, in all honesty, it's something I've only really noticed because I'm sitting down next to the nail varnish writing a review - but I do think it gives the product a classy, feminine feel. To add to this elegant appearance, Stay Perfect Nail Colour (I don't know how to format the "TM" trademark symbol but this is placed next to the "t" in perfect) is printed into the glass in shiny gold sans-serif lettering, whilst No7 is printed on the top of the black lid. ...I have quite a few products by no7, and on the whole I am pretty pleased with the quality and quantity of their ranges. The stay perfect foundation I found a great, easily applied foundation, it promises to give you a healthy glow, a luminous complexion, and last up to 16 hours. I dont use foundation very often, mainly when my complexion is not too grand, although this foundation is quite a light fluid, which doesnt feel to heavy on your skin, hence I think it would be fine for everyday use. NO7 STAY PERFECT FOUNDATION: not so perfect!

Advantages: Lasts a long time, hygienic bottle
Disadvantages: Not a great range of colours, a bit orange for my pale skin

...This foundation was my first "proper" foundation that I ever bought. I had previously used Maybelline Matte Mousse but wanted a better quality foundation when it ran out. I quite like the bottle the foundation comes with. It comes with a pump dispenser which means that you don't get lots of bacteria in it and as a result everything stays quite clean. It is easy to apply using fingertips, sponge or brush. The foundation is meant to last 16 hours (or so it says on the bottle!). I really don't believe this. I usually only wear it in the night but can tell that it has started to fade away after spending the night clubbing, so I don't think it would last very well if you wore it to the office and then went for drinks afterwards.
