Advantages: Good, solid intro to the band, heavy rock at its finest.
Disadvantages: Bit of a 'quiet' production.

I still have vivid memories of waking one Christmas morn to see that the big white bearded guy in the red outfit had left me this album in my Christmas stocking, along with another ''Rush'' album, 'All the world's a Stage.' I must admit that at the time I was more impressed with the latter of the two. I found 'Caress of Steel' a big fat disappointment. I had heard the opening track before and loved it, but the rest just seemed a bit lame. Advantages: Fabulous story excellently told

...what was related to what, as the author kept the cards firmly against his chest. As a result I had to read more to see what was going to happen and learn the truth. Some of the excellent links I did not anticipate at all. I could not see how his family were really involved with the Steel Witches and what had happened during the war that was so important. There was so much to enjoy, take in and digest in the story, but at the same time because it was well told and laid out you never got lost at all. The author was skilfully running two different stories simultaneously. You had the current investigation with Fletcher but you also had the story of the Witchfinder back in the 17th Century. Big Shiny Balls Of Steel

Advantages: Neg's Urban Sports
Disadvantages: Mark Dolan, The Annoying Devil amongst others.

...Balls Of Steel is a somewhat controversial TV comedy show which was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and was presented by Mark Dolan. To date there has been three series. The idea of this show is that the 'acts' perform pranks or stunts on the unsuspecting public (and occassionally celebrities) infront of hidden cameras and, at the end of the show, the studio audience choose who has the biggest 'balls of steel' (who was the bravest). I personally found this very hit and miss. Some of the sketches were hilarious whereas others were dull and even annoying. I particularly like 'Neg's Urban Sports'. This consists of the lead character, Neg, creating a different Urban Sport based loosely on an actual sport. 'Burger Bowl Off' and 'Urban Sprinting' have been the best of the lot. As Strong as Steel

Advantages: Wonderful characters
Disadvantages: Slightly uneven pacing

...of men and horses, he does it better than anyone I can recall and it's the closest thing I've ever come to reading in surround sound. Morgan's pacing of the actual scenes is wonderfully done as well. He uses short, choppy sentences during action scenes which makes those paragraphs pass quicker than other parts of the story, giving a feeling of the character's heart beating faster with the exertion. This, combined with his special touch with sound, puts the reader into the heart of battle more effectively than many. There are a couple of downsides, unfortunately. The characters have clearly been through a major war prior to the events of "The Steel Remains" and this is frequently referred to. Red Steel for the Wii

Advantages: Makes full use of the Wii controls, fun to play

...Red Steel is a First Person Shooter. You play as Scott Monroe, who goes to meet his girlfriend's father. Her father is a wealthy Japanese man who is high up on an enemy's hitlist. The father is attacked by his rivals and you have to save him and then your girlfriend gets kidnapped and you have to try and get her back. Controls ~~~~~~~ The Nunchuck is used for moving your character with the analogue stick, and the C and Z buttons are used for jumping and crouching. The wii remote is used for shooting. To Shoot you just point the controller and use the B button, it is a lot like firing a real gun. The sword fighting just involves swinging the controller and Nunchuck about and although the wii recognizes your movements well it is still not very realistic, however it is still great fun. However this is one of the few rare games that my computer can handle and is somewhat entertaining. Now I must say that Haulin? isn?t the latest game from the 18 Wheels of Steel franchise, in fact it comes somewhere in the middle, but if the old version is this good, the new version must be killer. 18 Wheels of Steel has a very simple game concept.You have to drive a truck from point A to point B without damaging the truck or getting fined by the police and losing all your assets and hence the game (big problem at the beginning for me).
