...I have liked the stereo Mc's for about a decade and had the album, but unfortunately due to my constant moving it got mislaid or lent out and forgotten. As with the other pedals this one has a solid plastic moulding with a slightly awkward to open battery compartment, accessed by pushing in the pedal hinge pins and lifting it off. Much better to use an external power supply, it saves money and broken fingernails. So what does a Chorus pedal do? Well it sits in the line between the guitar and amplifier and alters the signal. Basically it is a modulating effect which adds a slight highlight and a lowlight, to create a softened, even slightly ethereal tone to the sound. ...I got these speaker is 2004 and they are still going strong. I have taken them on holiday, to school and they are now my computer speakers. They can be used about every where. Amazing peice of kit. ( been half way around the world) Hardley dented at all. Unlike normal computer speakers or portable speakers these include a small amplifier with the volume control and added "bass boost " controls. Speakers which might do the job?

Advantages: Cheap, good sound

...itself does the job, considering that only one is working, there quite loud! but i'd reccommend going for a different brand considering the reliability of these. They provide excellent sound for the price range, which is good news for a budget speaker set. I'd reccommend these to a potential buyer only if theres no other brand available in the price range. When you turn the speakers on, a lovely blue light comes on, to turn them on you turn the volume button which is located on the righthand side speaker, on the side in a very nice and easy to use location. When both speakers are working the volume is absolutely awesome, as you can have them booming very loud! But, hey even with one working, it's still loud enough! The stereo sound on these speakers is great, when placed on a hardsurface they do tend to vibrate a bit as they dont have...

Disadvantages: Ugly as sin. No proper carry handle. Could use more connectors.

...The Hitachi TRK100 gives good sound from its built-in stereo speakers, lacking on many other DAB radios. It's fairly easy to use, and is mains/battery operated. But it is ugly, even more than most DAB radios! I bought this because I wanted to enjoy more channels than FM could provide, mainly for use with headphones at my work desk.
