I'VE QUIT SMOKING (Again)!!!!!

...offered was Laser Therapy for Stopping Smoking, Controling Your Weight and even Managing Everday Stress. So I gave them a call, to find out more about it. What exactly does it involve: They use a non penetration laser on an addiction point in your ear, this apparently stops the craving and withdrawal symptoms. So I made the appointment for Saturday 6th September 2003 at 11.30am, I was worried and had not spoken to anyone who had been through a treatment before and the £30 charge at first seemed quite excessive. I then thought about what I spent every week on ciggies, probably around £35-£40, or even nicotine replacement patches at £17 per week, so if it worked it would be worth it. "I'll stop smoking on Monday"

Advantages: Makes you see smoking for what it really is.
Disadvantages: You get left with a peculiar feeling, you CAN'T smoke, though that might be a good thing.

...That's what I used to say nearly every day, "I'll stop smoking on Monday". I meant it too, but people used to laugh, "yeah yeah" they'd say. Now I know why I said that. And why a lot of people say that, it's because we were afraid of quitting. Of course we are, we've been brainwashed into believing we need to smoke. But more about that later. Stop smoking overnight...No Bull!

Disadvantages: None at all as far as I can see!

..., I found this. I bought it, tried it, and stopped. Overnight, no cravings, no withdrawal symptoms, nothing. I had tried patches, will power, cold turkey, lozenges, stickers, threats, gum, plastic cigarettes, mouth spray, everything. I had considered hypnotherapy, but never got around to it. When I did stop for my regular fortnight, I was like a bear with a sore head - it was easier for my wife to go and buy me a packet than live with me in a foul mood! She cannot believe how this worked, and to be honest, nor can I. This book contains a CD which works on a subliminal level - and I thought it was going to be a load of old tosh. It says "read the first part of the book, play the CD, read the second part of the book". I read a couple of pages, played the CD, and forgot to smoke. Literally. I could still go out and drink...

Advantages: Frees you from that awful smelling weed!

...really effected my son as i never smoke in the house (as i don't like the smell and i would not want him breathing in harmful toxins) i also never smoked in front of him. This helped as if i believed it acceptable to smoke in my home i'm sure out of habit i would have smoked much more. Having said that, if you smoke irrelevent of how many, you are putting harmful toxins into your body and causing it harm and you are addicted to Nicotine. With controlled areas for smokers, there could be cost savings on insurance premiums. When working for the NHS the having a smokers room was initially met with some disgruntlement, however that was soon worn off by the realisation of its obvious benefits to the non-smoker. It is now commonplace for a secluded area to be set-aside within hospital areas for smokers. And other public places could follow suit. ...I wrote this review on 1st December, having been 6 months smoke-free. I am now updating it since tomorrow (1st June) is the 1st anniversary of my husband and I stopping smoking. It has been a really good year, and I just wish I?d done it sooner. Although I don?t want to sound cocky, stopping smoking really was so easy after reading Allen Carr?s ?Easy Way to Stop Smoking? book. I realise that everyone?s experience with smoking and stopping smoking is different, and what's easy to me might not be easy to others.
