...One of the things I hate about computers is the amount of files I have. Photos, films, music, work files and projects, games and loads of other stuff that I have no idea about tend to congregate on my hard drive like hoodies on a street corner. Like my desk, my filing system on my PC is a bit chaotic. Probably the only things that are where they should be are the actual installation files and that's only because they *have* to be there. I have no set folders for anything really, and the only way I'm able to find stuff is because I have vague ideas where everything I save everything has gone. For me it's not a problem because I know where my files are and as they're shared (in other words we can access them over the wireless network and use them on other machines around the house) I can work from wherever I happen to be. To work, the watch requires drivers; these normally come with operating systems such as Windows XP. However if your using an older operating system such as Windows 98, 95 etc, you’ll have problems. If you wish to use the watch on these computers the watch requires you to have the necessary software (drivers) to even begin to recognize the watch, to obtain the necessary software you have to use a CD-ROM containing the drivers... The sun collectors are glass tubes filled with a glycol solution and when the temperature in the collectors exceeds the temperature in the water tank by a specified number of degrees, the heat is transferred to the water. The whole kit and caboodle is controlled by an electronic gizmo which looks simple but turns out to be very complicated indeed. There is also an immersion heater for when there's not enough sunlight to heat the water properly. ...Why IVAR? I first came across IVAR storage quite a long time ago - 1990 I think? May well have been before then. At the time we were looking for a reasonably-priced, well-built and adaptable storage-come-desk area for our living room. IVAR seemed to fit the bill perfectly. The units were very cleverly made, looked far more classy than the price would suggest, were all wood (except for the obvious bits - door hinges and glass, fixings etc) and easy to assemble using IKEA's standard fixing system. The drawers were fully removable (excellent if, like me, you keep losing things down the backs of cupboards & can't otherwise retrieve them!) and the doors were fitted on lift-off hinges, making them very easy to remove for cleaning, for sorting out the cupboards' contents, and especially for moving the units when we needed to. .... Then when your baby is out of the car seat and into the pushchair, the plastic bar isn't something I call entirely safe. The edges are somewhat sharp and your baby might scratch him/herself. You will also find that matching accessories such a footmuff (or they also call it cosytoe) are very costly. If you buy it at Mothercare, it will set you back £29.99 !!! Matching parasol to protect your baby from the sun in summer will cost you around £19.99 ! Matching changing bag is around £29.99 too. That's £79.97 just for matching accessories !!! Speaking of storage. When you fold it away, it's still fairly big and it's not very easy to fold away but it's not too bad. Overall I'd say the travel system itself is a good value for money bearing in mind that it can be used for few years of your child's life and for few years for all subsequent children too...
