...I first became aware of this account card when my mum first applied for one many years ago. This account card has a first downer of being a very high APR of which in my mind has a big red cross over it, but the benifits of the card if used to its full potentional can out weigh and avoid the bad. As many credit cards and store cards have, this card has an intrest free period of purchases of up to 56 days of the purchase providing the balance was cleared and payment was on time on the last statement. There are 2 different types of account cards the blue and the gold. You can only apply for the blue card, where the gold has to be "earned". The blue card offers discounts on event days and when used with a nectar card, also gains extra nectar points per every £2 spent. The gold card on the other hand has much more value in terms...

...Now I work for Debenhams, and have done now for a year and if there is one thing I have to do, it's to be able to process account cards. There have been some modifications to the old store card and a new MasterCard has been introduced, but I'm sure you will find all the information you need below! . THE APPLICATION. The application for a Debenhams card is pretty much the same as before, except now it is a dual application you are considered for a Debenhams store card and a Debenhams MasterCard (explained later on in DEBENHAMS MASTERCARD section). There is the written application, which I would not recommend doing as this takes alot of time and once you have filled in all the questions the member of staff has to relay all the information over the phone to someone in a call centre far far away..... ...I have had a Debenhams store card for many years now, as you or may not read my Debenhams review, I can spend an awful lot of time in there and an awful lot of money. Debenhams store cards are issued by GE Money, one of the main companies that department stores, such as Debenhams go through when arranging a store card. Its an ideal piece of plastic if you shop a lot in Debenhams and works like any other store card. When you first take out the card you will be asked to fill in an application form in store so they are able to contact GE Money to see whether you would be accepted for a card. As they call through you will be given an answer instantly as to whether you are able to receive a card and if yes, you purchases of that first day will go on your new store card the same day, then all you have to do is wait for your actual card...

...the house of fraser store card is curretly the best on the market it has the most rewards each time you spend for example collecting points which add up toward vouchers which can be redeamed at any time. the poins quickly add up as every pound you spend you get 3 points and as soon as you reach 1500 points you het a £15 gift voucher. there are always new exclusive offers for card holders only, for example after the seasonal sales card holder and only card holders are eligable for an extra 20% off the sale price, other offers include certain weekends where you can receive between 10 and 20% off your bill with many consessions inclooded, the typical APR is arround 19.9% which works out arround 1.5% interest per month but your first 3 months are free....

...The nectar card is the loyalty card associated with Sainsbury's, however it has since branched out and is affiliated with many companies which allows for maximum point collecting! Let's start with the basics, you get 2 points per pound spent at Sainsburys or 1 point per litre of petrol bought at the Sainsbury's petrol garage. Each point accumulated is worth half a penny, so you need 2 points to equal 1 pence. If you redeem your points in store at Sainbury's then you will need minimum 500 points for £2.50 off o your shopping. Points need to be redeemed in increments of 500.
